Coffe for Two
There are aromas that have the power to transport us to specific moments, places and situations in our lives. For Alicia, a consecrated barista, the smell of coffee had the virtue of taking her back to all kinds of stories, each one of them linked to a special aroma and preparation, and the sweetness of bombom coffee took her back to the sweetest love story.
"Very few have the joy of doing what they are passionate about and some lucky ones can make a living out of it " was the phrase that could be read upon entering "Coffe for Two", the trendy place among young and not so young to enjoy the best coffee in the city.
Just two years ago "Coffe for Two", had ceased to be a dream, to become a reality. Who would have thought that her first encounter with coffee would be able to mark Alicia's life in such a way and although she was not one of those romantics who believed in love at first sight, her relationship with coffee could well be a great love story.
Behind the bar Alicia felt that she could touch the sky. She considered herself a kind of alchemist who with her particular coffee-colored concoctions was capable of making her customers experience all kinds of emotions.
From the hand of her Nona she had discovered what love was in a small cup of coffee when she was only eight years old and from that first encounter their Sunday date became her favorite time of the week.
Although Nona Lucia was strictly forbidden to offer coffee to her granddaughter, she turned a deaf ear and Sunday after Sunday she made her live a different experience.
With her she learned to prepare many of the types of coffee that she now offered on her menu to her clients and over the years Alicia discovered that life, like coffee, has different tones and intensities and that there is an ideal one for every occasion.
The mocha for example was special for rainy days and a touch of ginger and cinnamon brought you closer to Christmas.
For hot summer afternoons nothing better than an oreo frapuccino and when the heart ached the guayoyito was the best, but undoubtedly his greatest love was the coffee bonbon.
The intensity of the dark coffee in perfect union with condensed milk and whipped cream had become an addiction that led her to surrender at the feet of coffee and determined as she had always been after pleasing her parents by getting a university degree she said goodbye to books and went after her dreams.
After all, what is life without a dream. So he took a barista course, although in his work instinct was his best ally and with the economic support of his grandmother he opened what would be his first coffee shop. Named "Coffee for Two" as a perennial reminder of those Sunday afternoons with his beloved Nona.
Her preparations, beyond a simple coffee, reflected her passion and understanding for life and the different stages or circumstances that human beings could go through, and it was in this way that the coffee alchemist was able to guess in some magical way which potion would be the ideal one to cure a broken heart or to celebrate an achievement, and that was precisely what had made her occupy a privileged place among coffee lovers.
Alicia was in her element and in her moment. Completely surrounded by that smell that was part of her being and her skin. All of her was brown.
"After all love at first sight does exist " said Nona Lucia smiling while her granddaughter with the same excitement of her childhood years slowly enjoyed her bombom coffee as in every Sunday date.

Spill the beans expired days ago.
Sorry - post Muted in the coffee community per the rules
Hi @leaky20 I have just been muted in the community for using a tag that I shouldn't have, but I really didn't know, I'm not excusing myself. I would just like to know what I can do and where I can see what tags to use.
I read the first few posts before writing. It's the first time I post a story so I didn't know if there was a particular tag and I looked in a recent post where there was a fictional story like mine and that's why I used it.
My story is not a real story, it is a story about coffee, since I have seen some stories here I wanted to share one.
The tag I used was spillthebeans and I thought it was for stories about coffee. I didn't know they expired or couldn't be used. My post is not to participate in any contest, it is simply a fictional story of my imagination that has as main character a barista who discovered her love for coffee and I wanted to share it with the community instead of doing it in writing. In fact I made it especially for you.
Please explain me if you can what the mute consists of, if it is something permanent or just for that post and if there is anything I can do to get the mute removed.
Sorry to bother you, but I really don't know where else to turn.
Grateful for any help you can offer me.
Only this current post will be muted. You are still free and welcome to write any coffee related post in the community and you can participate in any future Spill The Beans initiatives when they are posted.
You should start by reading last week's Spill The Beans post to get an idea of what it is all about. See link below. They generally run for 3 days from Sunday to Wednesday and have a specific topic of interest.

Good luck 👍
Thanks for all
I deleted the tag, I don't know if it serves to unmute the post. The truth is I don't know what else to do, since it is the first time that something similar happens to me in the community and in the platform.
Is there anything I can do to unmute the post?
Removing the tag is a start I suppose.
Okay, It is done. Unmuted.
Thank you very much for your help. I promise to be very attentive!
Happy weekend

How nice when you can fulfill your dreams and when you feel the support of the people you love, as Alicia received it from Nona.
Coffee is the love of many people in the world, how nice that she can be with the love of her ida on a daily basis, because it is her job, business and passion.
Nice story friend @rlathulerie
I had never written a story like this before (without death or horror!!) and I loved it. Little by little it took shape and I found it very sweet and it is a story that many can identify with since everywhere coffee is part of the life of many.
I'm glad you liked it, my friend. A hug

I liked this story, as well as Alice, I have many stories in which a coffee is involved.
My thesis tutoring meetings, or when I was the tutor, and sometimes even though I was not the one in charge, a student who was lost in the middle of her research would come to me with a cookie and a coffee to convince me to make room for her in my busy schedule.
A coffee after lunch with my unexpected friend in the new office, with whom I shared dreams, plans and motherhood advice.
I have no bad memories involving coffee, so in my life, he has always been an ally for better things.
I think we all have stories related to coffee, many pleasant and others not so pleasant. At least for me it reminds me of my grandmother so I relate it to my childhood and my vacations on the island.
Of all beverages coffee comes first, for all alcohol coffee comes first (though coffee is non alcoholic), for all energy substance coffee comes first, for all soda coffee comes first(though coffee is not soda). What I meant in essence is for all liquid substance I consume, if it is not water then it is coffee.
Coffee is my one and only true love.
Aww how romantic!!! For many people coffee is part of their life and day to day life and if they could only drink coffee, they would!
Thanks for reading!
