Indonesia Will Export Chicken to Singapore, Widodo Makmur Poultry Participates

Singapore opens the door to import chicken meat and processed chicken meat products from Indonesia. As of Thursday (30/6), there are three companies that have obtained approval from the Singapore food agency, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). The three companies are PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia-Food Division, PT Ciomas Adisatwa-Plant Pemalang, and PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN). PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia and PT Ciomas Adisatwa obtained approvals to export frozen chicken meat and chicken pieces, while CPIN processed chicken meat. Not to be outdone, the integrated poultry company PT Widodo Makmur Unggas Tbk (WMUU) is also trying to participate in this export.
WMUU Corporate Communications Manager & Corporate Secretary Pradipta Danar Jati said the company had submitted an export procession to the Ministry of Agriculture. In addition, the company's production facilities are equipped with various certifications which are the main requirements of export activities to Singapore.
