Travel to Putroe Phang Park // Historical park in Banda Aceh City Center
Good afternoon to all my beloved hive friends ♥️
In this post, I will share some pictures that show the excitement and my best experience when visiting one of the historical tourist attractions in the city center of Banda Aceh. This trip I started today, precisely in the afternoon when the weather was not too hot so the atmosphere was cooler and I did this trip with my new friend who was in Banda Aceh, and he was the one who recommended the tourist attraction to me. At first I was not interested in hearing the name of the place, but after he explained a little about the place, finally I was curious and decided to visit the tourist attraction and the tourist attraction is called Taman Putroe Phang which is located right in the city center of Banda Aceh.
Because it is located in the city center, this trip is not too far and access to this place is also very easy, but still my friend who guided the way lol, maybe about 25 minutes of travel finally we arrived at the tourist spot where entry to this place is free and there is no charge whatsoever
When we arrived at the tourist spot, we immediately parked our motorbikes and went straight into the park area. The first thing we did was look for a place to sit to rest while enjoying the fresh drinks that we had bought earlier during the trip.
However, I did not linger in that place considering it was already afternoon, so after resting for a while I started to get up from my seat and started to explore the place one by one, there were many things that could amaze me with the beauty and charm of this park, one of which was the decoration of this path which had been made as attractive as possible.
After passing through this road, I was immediately connected to the beautiful charm of a river with a monument in the middle of it, and after asking my friend, it turned out that it was the Putroe Phang monument, which is the common name for this park.
The magnificent building that I managed to capture from a distance also looked very beautiful, but there was one thing that was very unfortunate, namely the water in the river had dried up, where the land in the river was starting to be visible. However, I was very curious about the monument in the middle of the river, so I started looking for a way to get to the monument, but to get to the monument I had to go around the park because the road to the monument was across the river, because of my great curiosity I didn't care about that and started going around the park.
But fortunately in the park there was a flyover that became a path for me to cross the river, and the bridge was beautiful so I positioned myself to take a picture of it.
When I crossed the bridge, I met two small children who were busy fishing on the riverbank. Seeing their excitement, I approached them and asked them a few things about the park, because they were still small so all they knew was playing around lol.
After I crossed the bridge, I was amazed because in the park there was also a children's playground, where the children's playground also provided several facilities such as slides, swings and several other facilities.
There are so many beauties that I can find in the park, initially I did not expect to find a glimpse of beauty in the park besides the beauty of the river and the monument, but I could only witness the beauty when I started exploring the park. In this park there is also a footpath that has been made as beautiful as possible which makes visitors interested in continuing to explore the park.
From the picture above, it can be seen that in the park there are many lush trees that make the atmosphere inside feel very cool and calming, even though during the day I am sure if we are in the park the atmosphere will also feel cool, and on that occasion there were also several people who were doing a photo shoot session and also visitors who visited the place with their families, because this park is a park that is very suitable to visit with family or friends.
There are so many beautiful things that we can find if we really explore this park properly and correctly, like me who initially only wanted to visit the monument, but after being in the park I was immediately captivated by all the beauty in the park.
After I walked around the park, finally from a distance I saw the monument was right in front of my eyes, seeing that the monument was close to me, I started to speed up my steps so that I could quickly reach the monument.
Yes, I cannot express the beauty and grandeur of the monument in words, because of my deep curiosity about the monument, so I felt very happy and satisfied when my feet began to touch the floor of the monument's courtyard.
But when I started to approach the monument, the first thing I saw was a wall with writing explaining about the monument. Maybe you all will understand the history of the monument after reading the writing on the wall.
You will understand and comprehend the history of the monument after reading the writing on the image above.
It turns out that the monument is called "Pintoe Khop" which is a monument erected by the king of Aceh in ancient times which was made as proof of his love for a woman named "Putroe Phang". And the Pintoe Khop monument itself was made at the request of Putroe Phang himself.
Around the monument area we can also enjoy the beautiful natural panorama around, and on that occasion I also managed to take several pictures that showed the reflection of the surrounding nature.
After capturing some beautiful moments around the monument, I started walking towards the starting point, and to get to the starting point I had to cross a different bridge to cross the river. But when I crossed the bridge I saw another angler who was busy fishing there. It can be concluded that in addition to the beauty that we can see around the park, this park can also be a favorite place for anglers and it is mutually beneficial.
After I crossed the bridge, I immediately walked to the starting point, where my friend was waiting for me.
Well, those are some pictures that show my excitement during my visit to Taman Putroe Phang, and with a little story that I present in this post to accompany all my friends, I really hope this post can provide entertainment for all my friends. I @riyat apologize profusely if there are any wrong words and writings in this post because I myself am a human being who is never free from mistakes, I also thank all my friends who always accompany me in every post that I share every day.

I really liked its areas and the history it keeps in its monuments, especially the small bridge where the children were fishing.
You are absolutely right, I can't imagine the beauty of that place.

New friends who recommend free destinations are good friends hahaha even if he is a bit lazy and won't join you to see the park xD I had a good laugh about you trying to get information from kids who “only knew how to play”.
It must be really nice to visit when the river has more current. I'm surprised that this large, wooded space is so close to the city center, that's good, a natural escape close at hand is always a good idea.
This photo is very nice ❤️:
Good evening my auntie♥️
I'm not really sure about the answer to why a forest this wide can be in the city center, but there is one very logical answer, maybe because this is a historical heritage site of Aceh and the community is still preserving it.
There are so many things and beauty that we can get in the park. Very good choice of pictures.
Thank you very much for your support and good comments, I really appreciate it, have a nice day 🤗♥️♥️
