End of year holiday to the cold city of Takengon // Exploring the "Kala Temu" paradise park which is the most favorite tourist attraction in Aceh at the end of the year

A holiday that is really longed for by almost everyone is the end of year holiday, a holiday that will spend time visiting several favorite tourist attractions and that is a very fun thing to do. When the end of the year arrives we will be able to see many people traveling for a holiday, and of course it is done for happiness

On December 25, 2024 I returned to travel to visit the coldest city in Aceh, namely Takengon, the trip that I had been waiting for finally came true. Yesterday at exactly 07.00, I and 5 friends took this trip with the main goal of the end of year holiday. Morning is the perfect time to travel to Takengon because considering the travel time which takes almost five hours, and the road is also very extreme because it has to pass through steep roads and very sharp bends, the trip started at 07.00 and we arrived in Takengon at exactly 12.00 noon, but when we arrived in Takengon we were confused about which tourist attractions to visit first because Takengon is indeed a heavenly city in Aceh because it offers extraordinary natural beauty, but some of my friends also stated that visiting "Kala Temu" is a very pleasant destination, hearing my friend's statement we immediately agreed with the statement.

Kala Temu itself is a very popular natural tourist spot in Takengon, a tourist spot that has a starred restaurant and also has a very beautiful garden, so it is very suitable to visit, especially at the end of the year.

It only takes 30 minutes to get to this tourist spot from the city center of Takengon, and as soon as we arrived at the tourist spot, we immediately parked our motorbikes in the parking lot provided there, but what really amazed me was that I could see the number of visitors visiting this place, from small children to old people.

To enter this tourist spot, we must first cross a bridge because there is a small river blocking the road. And when I arrived in the middle of the bridge, how surprised I was to see the river had been decorated into a garden that looked so beautiful and attractive.

Not only that, because if we look to the side again, we will also be able to see the beauty of a garden that has been decorated with beautiful plants and several flowers that look very tempting, besides that the villas provided by the Kala Temu tourist attraction are also very beautiful objects to look at.

But it is very unfortunate that this bridge does not have a fence so it will be very risky, considering the number of people taking pictures on the bridge and also the number of children playing and running on the bridge, so it will be very risky for people to fall down, but the rest is just a beauty. And this bridge itself is a bridge and the only way to enter this tourist spot.

After crossing the bridge, we were immediately directed to a cafe where we could order food and drinks there, and ordering food at the cafe also became a ticket so that we could enter and explore the park in this tourist spot, because there are several places that are prohibited from entering if we have not received a ticket, and the ticket itself will be given by the employee there when we have ordered food and made the payment.

However, the problem when ordering food is that we have to be willing to queue for a long time because of the large number of visitors.

And after we ordered our food and drinks, we immediately went out of the cafe and sat on the chairs outside, the goal was so that we could still enjoy the natural beauty offered by this place, this place itself has a very large size where there are several parks and also several inns or villas that have been provided by this place for visitors.

Once I arrived outside the cafe, I saw a lot of visitors coming to this place, not only inside the cafe, outside the cafe also looked very full, so it was very difficult for us to get a seat. so we had no choice but to wait for some visitors to go home so that we could get a seat to rest.

There were probably hundreds of visitors coming to the place at that time, especially considering that it was the end of the year where many people were also on vacation, so it was no surprise. After waiting for a few minutes, finally there was an empty table because the visitor had gone home, so we immediately approached the table so that it would not be occupied by other people.

However, after taking a short break, our orders were finally ready and served, but at that time we only ordered drinks, we did this with the main goal of getting tickets Lol.

And after we had rested and enjoyed this special dish, we were ready to immediately get up from our seats to explore this place, but at that time I first approached a sign for the name of this place, namely Kala Temu.

After that I started walking and left the cafe area and started walking towards the park.

There are so many visitors around this park, even the old ones are seen enjoying the beauty of this place, because this place has truly extraordinary natural beauty and also artificial beauty that can be appreciated.

And right next to the park there is also a large river and has very clean water, and in the river there are also water sports or often called Arum Jeram.

Arum Jeram itself is a water sport where people can ride a rubber boat and start to pump adrenaline to pass through a very fast river current so that it also becomes a challenge in itself.

I myself have also felt the challenge of this White Water Rafting when I visited this place a few months ago, and it was also very challenging for me at that time. However, on my visit yesterday I did not have time to ride this White Water Rafting because some of my friends did not want to join.

And after I devoted some of the beauty of this park, we immediately walked to the park around the villa in the tourist spot and I will share it in the next post.
