Tesoro - A Picturesque Pizzeria

Hello, I am back here today to share my newest gastronomic experience here in Bangalore, India.

After moving to Bangalore, I did make a longggg list of places to tick off. One of them was Tesoro. I recently visited this sourdough pizza kitchen located in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar. It was on my way to this restaurant that I realized how vast Bangalore is. It took my friend and me whole three hours to travel to this place. Oh, but was it worth it?

Tesoro is located on the outskirts of Bangalore city. This area is away from the city noise and is quite calm and relaxing. I love restaurants with outdoor seating - it is all bright and enlivening.

What I love in particular about this place is that they have swings for seats. The kid in me got really excited, hehe.

To add to my joy, this place had some really great coffee too. Cappuccino in cold weather is as heavenly as it could get.
The Cappuccino here is priced at INR 149 (1.82 USD).

We started with the Mac & Cheese Fritters. These cheese-filled treats with a crispy fried cover were incredibly tasty. These were priced at INR 249 (3.04 USD).

Next, we had Chilli Honey Ham. This one had my heart. Caramelized pork ham stuffed with vegetable filling. It was a perfect balance of both - sweet and spicy. This was priced at INR 279 (3.41 USD).

Now, for what the place is best known for - Sourdough Bread. This was the Sourdough Stuffed Garlic Bread With Blue Cheese & Microgreens. With this, we found out blue cheese wasn't really blue xD. But as you can see in the picture below, the garlic bread was super cheesy. This was priced at INR 269 (3.29 USD).

It would be illegal to go to a pizzeria and not get pizza, so here we have the Margarita D'Italia. It is topped with marinara sauce, cherry tomatoes, basil leaves, and mozzarella cheese. This one was very cheesy too and by now we were having an overdose, but gosh, it was so good. This one is priced at INR 299 (3.65 USD).

We tried Kombucha here and it was excellent. Kombucha is a fermented fizzy drink with a sweet and sour taste palette. We tried the Pomegranate & Mint variant. This was priced at INR 225 (2.75 USD)
We also had the Jun - a drink with Orange, Rose, and Cacao. This drink is a blend of Assam tea, dried orange, rose petals, and dark chocolate. This one is priced at INR 249 (3.04 USD).

It was dessert time and we went for the Chocolate Brownie With Ice Cream and Tiramisu. The brownie was a little on the drier side and could've been a little fudgier. This was priced at INR 179 (2.19 USD).
The Tiramisu was okay too. It lacked the usual coffee flavor but was quite creamy. This was priced at INR 249 (3.04 USD).

We definitely had a great time at Tesoro and this is one place I'd definitely return to. We were then all set to travel another three hours to get home. T-T
