Note: Some guildmates battles were already gone past the recent battles, so I could only find these. Hope you'll all like it.
@rimurutempest's match:
Here you can see that the enemy has made a bad choice of placing at the last position a melee monster that did no damage while all my monster did damage. Also, I did not have any sneak monster so even to protect the backline was not done.
Taking note of the Blast ruleset, you need to be extra careful at your second and third monsters, as they'll also receive damage together with the tank. With this in mind, I placed two off-tanks the Flying Squid and the Djinn Oshannus, so they'll protect the other cards at backline, while the opponent only had an Oshannus.
Taking advantage of the Equalizer ruleset, Anuk made the most of using low health AND low mana monsters to fill out his roster!
Blast Tip: High Damage, Fast Speed, Off-tank at Second Position
In the end, my lineup overpowered the other team composition, took this win to the guild. ๐ฅ
@bigfungus's match:
Bigfungus was very strategic to choose as first his first position monster the Failed Summoner. It survived 3 hits of 2 damage each and returned 3 damage, 1 to each attacker. With this he already got an advantage against the enemy.
Another point to take into consideration is the amount of monsters. While the enemy had 4 mages buffer, Bigfungus had the same amount + a tank.
The more monsters you can place in a lineup, the better. If they are compatible to the summoner is even better.
His choice of selecting monsters with less mana, that has low HP was a huge plus in this battle. With the Equalizer ruleset, the initial health of all monsters is the same of the highest HP in the battle, so the disvantage of low health is solved. This was noticed at Wood Nymph X Goblin Psychic for example, with the extra 2 mana from the support we could place the tank.
@bigfungus's ๐๐๐๐๐:
This battle's ruleset was Target Practice. It gives the Snipe ability to all ranged and magic monsters. With this in mind, Bigfungus used Shieldbearer as a tank because its Taunt ability will prevent the damage from the Sniper to reach the damage dealers, because it'll be aggroed by the taunt. You can see that the enemy team tried to do a similar strategy with Wave Brood, but it did not work, because it did not have any defense.
It is a good idea that when you utilize a Taunt Monster to give it some buffs and protection, just like the Djinn Renova gave +1 hp to all ally monster with its Strength ability.
The combo of General Sloan + Ranged monsters destroyed the enemy team. While 3 monsters received +1 damage, the other team did not have any buffs. That gave an attack advantage to his lineup.
Although bananofarmer used monsters with high health that didn't really benefit from the Equalizer ruleset, the buffs and abilities they provided were more than enough to counter the enemy team and compensate for the disadvantage.
Tactics and smart moves is what defines a battle, and Bigfungus did it very well. Good Job! ๐๐

Yeah, that was nice about first three match win in a row but lose other's against higher level cards with one or more very close, if they missed one or two hits, then number of winning will be more. Anyway, i didn't save any battle link but next time do it for the guild post. Have a wonderful time with splinterlands.
