A reality that we often face in our lives and in managing our financial resources is the difficulty in having strategies and financial discipline that allow us to have a balanced budget between our remuneration and our daily expenses.
Many times in my life I didn't have financial discipline, even when I was very young, when I started working and earning my first salary, I still lived at my parents' house, and my parents never wanted to receive anything from me, so I was left with the of my salary, which meant I never had much financial discipline, I just went to the ATM and as long as I could withdraw money I didn't care about anything else.
After some time with this financial indiscipline of mine, instead of being positive, my bank balance was always negative, until sometimes I still had a week to go until I received my salary again and I no longer had any money, I had to resort to my parents and grandparents and ask for help.
Many times, spending more than we earn has a snowball effect, month after month the negative balance will be greater and each time we run out of money, spending what we have and what we don't have.
It wasn't easy at the time but I had to stop and think of a way to have financial self-discipline.
Some strategies I had to implement were creating a type of Excel table or often even handwriting where I tallied up all my salary gains and on the other side my expenses and seeing the remaining balance, managing that remaining amount over the number of days until I get paid again and can manage my money.

Many times I would try to put some amount aside, every month if we put a small amount aside, pretending we don't have it, as time passes we will see and we already have some amount saved, either at home in cash or in a savings account in the bank, and it is important to have this money for any unforeseen expenses that usually occur.
These were some of my ways of achieving financial self-discipline, and every time I went to the ATM, I collected the paper with the bank statement, always checking the available balance to manage it better and not get any unpleasant surprises.
We all have our strategies, but above all we have to be aware that we can never spend more than we actually earn, because if we have a value and we take away all that value we end up with a negative balance and then the effect that I said above begins. of snow, getting bigger and bigger until we have no way out.
