Banning doping is something we must do in an increasingly competitive society
This is a topic that makes us reflect on how we see our society in modern times and the methods that are often used to achieve success.
In a modern society like ours and with the evolution of times, competition between human beings is increasing, whether to get a better job or in other areas such as sport.
Often the means do not justify the ends.
Many times, in ancient times, people gave more value to people's effort and commitment than to results, but in this competitive world, where this often counts, we resort to substances that increase our performance but at the same time distort the result in benefit of the person who uses these substances and other people who strive, who fight with their effort and selflessness to overcome themselves, are left behind in unfair competition like the one we often find in the news when these cases of doping are discovered.
In search of results and victories, athletes and those around them put their health at risk, and often the consumption of certain substances and their abuse can even lead to death, but the search for glory and fame often leads to failure. There are limits, and many run the risk of not only being caught in anti-doping controls, but even more serious for me, ending up with serious health consequences and in some cases irreversible.
In recent times, the evolution of doping in sport has always been an evolution with new methods and ways of trying to escape the controls carried out before and after competitions.
In my point of view, it is increasingly necessary to pay attention to cases of doping, and the detection process must evolve more and more so that these cases cannot go unnoticed, because the use of doping alters the sporting truth, and above all Above all, it puts the health of athletes and their own lives at risk.
Even though these substances cannot be administered with more control, I am completely against their use, there is nothing better than obtaining our achievements and results through our efforts and not altering our results knowing that we are competing unequally. in front of so many athletes who strive, who work hard to achieve their results.
Unfortunately, doping will never always be part of sport, but it will always be something that we must join forces to prohibit, and this goes beyond detecting it with more anti-doping controls, we must also educate athletes and young people, showing them the right way . of fair and healthy competition, and showing the harm that the use of doping has on those who use it.
I end my reflection as I began it, in this competitive world not everything counts to achieve results, and investing in good healthy practices and training athletes and young people will be the right path for a fairer and healthier world, for us and for future generations who will follow us with these values knowing that in life, as in sport, not everything is worth winning.
On point @ricestrela . The concern here is the health issues. The quick get rich method is causing lots of problems. Youths are risking their lives so much.
