Exploring The Urban Forest Tour In Langsa City, Aceh-Indonesia
Hello my friends on Hive, especially for those of you who have a hobby of traveling with friends and family. On this occasion I would like to share my memorable experience at the Wednesday Walk Community. Yesterday, on Wednesday, my wife and my friends decided to visit a famous tourist spot in Langsa City, Aceh province. This tour is called "Langsa city protected forest", located on the PERUMNAS road, Paya Bujok Seulemak Village. Langsa Baro District, approximately 6 km from downtown Langsa, can be reached by traveling for approximately 15 minutes.
The ticket price for entering the Langsa urban forest is Rp. 2,000, - per person or around 0.15 USD, for normal days but during big holidays such as Idul Fitri, Christmas and New Year holidays, the entry ticket increases to Rp. 10.000,- per person or around 0.70 USD. So, for those of you who bring private vehicles, you are also required to pay a parking fee at a rate of Rp. 2,000, - or around 0.15 USD for motorbikes, and Rp. 5,000 or about 0.35 USD for the car. The Langsa City Forest tourist location is open every day from 08.00 AM to 18.00 PM western Indonesian time.
Tourism forest is a forest area that is developed and maintained specifically by the local government for the benefit of new tourism and tourism. Tourism forests that have natural beauty, a wealth of flora and fauna as well as nature itself have a distinctive style to be used for recreational and cultural purposes. Protected forests have the main function of protecting life support systems to regulate water management, prevent flooding, control soil erosion, prevent seawater intrusion and maintain soil fertility.
Nature and Shady Trees
In the Langsa urban forest you can find various types of trees such as Damar, Teak, Merbau, Meranti, Palm trees, and several other plants. In total there are more than 300 types of plants that live in this popular forest and some of them are even classified as step plants.
Apart from plants, animals also have a special attraction for tourists, where there are several tame animals such as turtles, deer, crocodiles, birds and several other tame animals.
Spot Photo
For those of you who like taking pictures, Langsa City Forest can also be your truest hunting destination. Here there are various interesting objects that you can shoot with the camera, such as rows of green trees, ponds and various animals in the mini zoo. Many visitors also don't forget to capture the moment by taking selfies.
You can use various backgrounds such as ponds and also rows of lush trees.
Apart from that, the bridge in the forest is also a favorite spot for taking pictures. Be careful when crossing the bridge, because the capacity of this bridge is only for 40 people, and don't be afraid if the suspension bridge sways slightly when you walk, because that's a normal thing.
Rides
In addition to offering beautiful flora and fauna, this urban forest provides various rides for visitors so that anyone who comes here doesn't feel bored. There are games that can be found such as Flying Fox, Water Bikes, ATVs, Hanging Bikes, Scooters, and many more that you can enjoy while feeling the cool air in the forest.
Don't worry about the game facilities, the various rides are very friendly with children. The most exciting rides are the flying fox and water bikes. Many travelers are willing to queue to ride this vehicle, usually there are queues during weekend holidays.
Aceh Traditional House and Tree House
Langsa City Forest Tourism is very suitable as a family tourism destination because it has a large, shady and beautiful area and there are also cultural tourism objects. Like the traditional Aceh house which is displayed with a traditional, unique and still very authentic feel so that the younger generation does not forget their cultural history.
This spot is one of the most favorite photo locations for visitors. And we also took some photos at this location, because the atmosphere here is very beautiful and fun.
Apart from that, at this tourist location there is also a tree house built with classic concepts such as primitive times. It reminds us of the atmosphere of life in primitive times when humans lived side by side with nature and made use of makeshift living resources. This tree house is built on a resin tree that is hundreds of years old. The quality of this tree is very good and strong so when you climb into the tree house it is guaranteed to be safe. Although safe, visitors are still limited to only six people.
We discouraged from going up to this tree house, because it requires more energy and courage.
That is the story of my travel exploration in one of the areas located in my province, Aceh-Indonesia. Thank you for following my story. Hopefully later I can share other traveling stories with all of you. Hope you guys also have a great day with a beautiful story.
