Hello all my friends on Hive, especially to all my friend on Hive Open Mic. Happy to be participating again for Hive Open Mic Week 171 with the theme: "Divorce / Separation." This theme is chosen by our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @merit.ahama.
To follow this week's theme, I chose to cover a song belonging to a band from Mississippi, United States which was founded in 1994. The song is entitled "Here Without You". The rock genre song was released in 2002 through the record label Universal Records. Brad Arnold (Vocalist) said of the song's origins, "'Here Without You' is a song I wrote for my ex-wife. She's just an inspiration to the thought process, I think. And that's really good about all of us, in one thing."

The frontman explained the meaning of this song by saying, "The song's just about being away from someone, or missing them. And it really doesn't matter if you're here without them for all day or all month. It's just kind of about the lonely and missing of somebody."
From the story of this song, it is very clear that the lyrics of this song tell about divorce or separation. I think this Song really fits the theme for this week. Hope you guys like my cover version. Enjoy...
