Reminiscing our Holiday Trip at Tagaytay

Tagaytay City is generally located in the Province of Cavite. It is one of the most popular tourist destination and the most visited place in Luzon especially during holiday season. This place is known for it's cold and foggy weather and it's beautiful parks wherein you can sightsee the beauty of the Taal Volcano and the Taal Lake on it. This place is also rich in farm fruits in their market and even displayed beside the highways that you can buy in a lower prices.

It was last December 2021 when my cousin Abby came up a plan to have a trip in Tagaytay City together with my cousins and siblings. Abby was the one who organized the plans for she really wanted to go back there because it's been years since the last time she visited that place. And then she came up with the funds that are needed for the trip including the travel fare, park entrance, and other miscellaneous expenses.

At first she plans to rent a car near in our place that we all can fit in and that will be going to use during our trip and I will be driving that car. And it's okay for me because I always drive here in my work. But we ended up commuting because we can't rent a car that time since it was all fully booked due to holiday season. The owner said that we should book in advance if we are going to rent a car especially during holidays.

It was dawn when we departed from the house of our Aunt in Cavite. From Molino II Bacoor, Cavite, we rode a jeep going to Zapote and walked for a while until we reach to the highway. We waited for almost 15 minutes before the bus arrived. We rode on it until we reach on the Tagaytay Bus Station. At the station we rode again a jeep that will took us into the "People's Park in the Sky" which was the first destination of our trip.

When we arrived at the park, it was foggy and the wind really blows fast causing the environment to be very cold especially it was on the top of the mountain. Even we arrived there early, the park was already crowded even at the entrance of the park.
Even though it's my second time to be here I was still amazed on this place because of beautiful scenery, ambiance, and the picture taking spots of the place.

When you finally entered the Park, you can either choose to walk or ride a jeep from the entrance up to the main spot of the park. But we chose to walk instead because it's not really far from the entrance and so that we can take some photos on our way up. This park was a great holiday getaway place especially when you are with your family and your love ones.

I went and followed them for almost all the areas that are great for picture taking especially our youngest sister and my cousin Abby who are fond of picture takings.

We stayed there until 12:00 in the afternoon up until we decided to take our lunch. We looked for a restaurant that we can eat our lunch but it's all full and unavailable. Then we decided to transfer to the other popular park which was the "Tagaytay Picnic Groove" to look for some Restaurants that we can eat our lunches. And luckily we found an available one which was the "Alamat Restaurant" inside the Park.

It's my first time in this park and all I can say is that it is huge and beautiful wherein you can literally see the Taal Volcano in front of you. There's a lot of fun activities that you can experience in this park, from their beautiful and huge Ferris wheel, Zipline and the horse riding activity.

There's also a lot of stalls and stores that you can buy some good remembrances of your travel. I bought some tshirts for my two sisters, myself and for my mom and dad. We took a lot pictures in this park and it's literally a memorable one.

We planned to visit the Sky Ranch after but a heavy rain poured on our way there and then we decided to go home instead because of it.

Ending Thoughts

It was a great and a memorable experience I have ever since. It is one of the best adventure I've got to experience since I came here in Manila. Hoping that we can share another great adventures in the future.
