What Can You Do When You Hate Your New Job?
We all want to move forward in our careers. You see a good opportunity and get a job offer. You accept the job and join the company. You did your analysis before accepting the job, but you can't say for sure what it would be unless you are on the job.
Now you found out that this is not your dream job. Your dream job turns into a nightmare. So what can you do in this situation? When you get a new job, everything is new for you. You get to know new people, company culture is different. You may feel uncomfortable at the beginning, but it's absolutely okay. Spending some time over there, things become interesting.
So figure out whether your new job is a problem or it is something else. Identify the core issues and take initiative to fix that one by one. You can talk to your colleague and boss about what you are going through. They can help you fix those issues. You may look for a new job, that's another option you have. You can talk to the ex-colleague and previous company management. Since they know what you have accomplished over there, they may give you a better offer. So you can consider that.
