Can Smartphone Text Prediction Guess Your Seed Phrase?
You enjoy the freedom where you are in crypto. You own your cryptos and you do not need anyone's permission to send them anywhere. Freedom comes with responsibility. You are responsible for the security. Once someone gets your keys, that person can clear your wallet.
When we type on our smartphone, we see the words appear on the screen that we are about to write. You don't need to type that anymore, you can add that word instantly. I like this feature.
You type your wallet seed phrase on your phone. Can your smartphone text prediction guess your seed phrase?
I don't know whether it is possible for the smartphone text prediction to predict seed phrases like this. Hackers use different tactics and misuse any vulnerability to hack and operate cyber attacks.
If smartphone text prediction can guess seed phrases, that will be scary. Hackers may get your seed phrases and steal your crypto misusing this feature.
I read an article recently. An IT professional from Germany named Andre discovered that as soon as he typed the first word of the seed phrase, his phone predicted the entire recovery seed phrase.
We cannot imagine our daily life without our phones. If your phone is stolen or you lose your phone somehow, you can feel how important it is for you. You feel like you are disconnected from the entire world. It is as if you live on an island alone without any connection.
You use your phone to do different things. You use your phone to connect to your wallet. Once you lose your seed phrases and hackers get it anyway, they get control of your cryptos. You have been working so hard to build your portfolio, if you lose your crypto anyhow, that will be very painful.
