Time to stack some Riftwatchers Cards

My rational, and financially astute approach to Splinterlands Vesting has now evolved into sacking-off purchasing massive amounts of packs in either pre-sales or regular sales and instead focus on purchasing the better cards off the market.

By better I mean the higher value cards as these are obviously the ones which are more used, will get higher rents and are more likely to stand the test of time, even once the drop into WILD from modern in months and years to come.

I did buy a few RW packs, just a few hundred, which gave me most rares and commons up to L2/3, most epics up to L2 and Typically 1-2 of each of the legendaries.

I'm buying mainly to rent, but also maybe occasionally playing in Silver...

Rental income tends to be best for the mid-level Silver and gold cards, and for legendaries this means Levelling up to L2 or L3, which means 3 AND 6 BCX respectively.

I've already bought all the Legendary cards up to L2 at least, with a couple of the better ones up to L3....

EPICS are next, up to L5 I think...

With the Rift set, the only EPIC cards are summoners, and I've already got the two best levelled to L4, but because this game is ALL about the summoners, I'm going to next buy sufficient BCX for L5, but probably have one L4 and one L3 and then just two spares for now.

Then it's the better rares and commons...

I know NOTHING about these cards! I tend to pay much more attention to legendaries and epics, but the market tells me these are best rares...

So I'll take these up to at least LEVEL 4 in the first instance.

And then the best commons...

I haven't decided what levels for these, maybe 6 for now.

This is all about hedging against being left behind...

Many of these cards rent for decent yields, over 10% and if I do want to play in silver, making sure I've got levelled versions of the more played cards makes sense.

I'm not too worried about the cheaper ones.

After this I'll either take all my Legendaries up to L3 and max the summoners, OR I'll start picking up a few legendary REBELLION cards, I feel like I need some copies of that LEG summoner!

But that probably won't be until spring.

And my main focus is still going to be on DEC for land and buying up a few more rare golds for LAND staking too!
