Spring is in the air...

We've had a string of classic, cold, frosty spring mornings this early March, and I just love it when the weather is like this...

Cold and crisp and getting light by 6.30 already, it's winter's last gasp and you can feel spring-proper coming...

We are at the white lines...

So defo a lot lighter overall.

One can now go out for a run at 6.30 in the morning, sans head torch, and walk back post-work in the proper light.

I had a wonderful walk along the river today at midday, en route between work venues, and then back home in the late afternoon, cold but sunny, some of my favourite weather!

I can generally feel my mood lifting, not that it's low in winter by any means, but I feel more up for doing shit already, just with a little more sun!

Not quite there yet but...

I mean one still has to scrape one's car early in the morning, which is a pain, the other day I had to pull over as my windscreen re-iced, I think I got over-enthusiastic with the screen wash, it clearly wasn't as good as the de-icer I sprayed on initially, lesson learned for Friday should I need it~!

And it's not quite planting season for most plants yet, but in another couple of weeks as we edge towards the Equinox, change picks up...

Spring is just around the corner!
