We're the Millers Review - Fun and Drama

We are the Millers is a 2013 American comedy film directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber The story revolves around David Clark Jason Sudeikis a smalltime drug dealer in Denver David finds himself in trouble when his money and merchandise are stolen and he is forced to smuggle a large amount of drugs from Mexico to the United States to pay off his debts to a major drug dealer In order to cross the border without arousing suspicion David decides to start a fake family consisting of his dancing neighbor Rose Jennifer Aniston homeless teenager Kenny Will Poulter and rebellious teenager Casey Emma Roberts What starts as a simple mission turns into an adventure full of comedic situations.

The Performance

Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston give outstanding performances as David and Rose The chemistry between them was great and contributed greatly to the success of the film Will Poulter as Kenny added a unique comedic touch and demonstrated good acting abilities especially in scenes that require exaggerated facial expressions Emma Roberts was perfect for the role of the rebellious teenager and she played her role brilliantly The collective performances of the four leads create an excellent balance between comedy and poignant situations.
