Hello!

I have not wrote any post in the last 19 days as I've been in Japan enjoying my working holidays.
I always dreamed to visit this country, I enjoyed it so much! I can't recommend you enough to visit Japan.
People are awesome, I love their culture, the respect they have for each other and for older people, the way how they interact, their passion, etc.

I am already at home, exhausted from the trip, we've been flying for 18 hours and waited for a couple while changing planes.

I've been out of the charts for a while, but I'm planning to be more active in the coming weeks. I'm still committed to write some posts here and there.

I needed some days off work, now I can go back with more energy and enthusiasm. I have some exciting and challenging projects for this 2025.

The yen and the central bank of Japan

I know that the Japanese currency (Yen) has been collapsing against the dollar and the other major currencies. Japan is the country with the higher ratio of debt vs GDP, they are trying to inflate the debt away.
They rose 0,25% the interest rates and the world almost broke!
Some over leveraged people borrowing yen and investing in US assets (Carry trade) are the ones who were obligated to sell to deleverage their positions.
Gamblers always gonna gamble. Well, it looks like we are more stable now and Bitcoin can rise again.

I hope we can be laughing at this in a couple of months saying that it was just another bump in the way.
