Battle Challenge Scavo Firebolt

avatar

My post is about the Scavo Firebolt card and sharing a battle by participating in this week's challenge issued by the Splinterlands team.

Scavo Firebolt belongs to Splinter Fire, having Ranged attack type with 2 attack at its initial level does not become a bad card because it can cause damage to cards with Shield ability.
It is a good option for Little League ruleset, usually Splinter Fire Summoners are focused with Speed buffer or + Melee attack, but there is Yodin Zaku Summoner option that favors Ranged attack cards.
There is also the possibility to combine Splinter Dragon with Fire and in this case, Selenia Sky and Archmage Arius also favor Ranged attack cards.

For this battle we had Reverse Speed and Close Range as rulesets, with Mana 28 capacity I understood that it was a possibility to use Firebolt in my team's formation.
For this I chose the Tarsa Summoner, in which it favors mostly Melee attack cards, but also increases the health points of all my cards.

To lead my team with this rule set, nothing better than Living Lava, its Shield ability gives some protection for this battle, and having low speed allows it to be one of the first cards to attack in this battle.
In the second position Radiated Brute, with its Reach ability allows me to attack the opponent's tank, combining the attack with Living Lava would be my strongest cards in attack and health points in this battle, to hold the front line, trying to somehow protect my weaker cards from being attacked, but Opportunity attacks could throw everything away.

And that was my focus, Opportunity attacks but with reduced speed to be among the first to attack in the battle.
If I attacked first, I had an open door for Ant Miners to be an important card in the battle because of their Scavenger ability, there was a great possibility to increase their health points.
In case the opponent attacked first with Opportunity attacks, Ant Miners would be a card in vain that would soon be destroyed and complicate the strategy I had set up.
Following the strategy, Parasitic Growth was the key to Ant Miners survival, having Opportunity ability and reduced speed, it gave the possibility to eliminate a card with its attack, and eliminate it before it was eliminated.

In this strategic context, Battering Ram had the same function as Parasitic Growth, and I only needed one of these two cards to be able to eliminate an opponent's card at the beginning of the battle.
And to protect from Sneak attacks, Scavo Firebolt enters this battle, the main intention would be to hold the last position, preventing my Opportunity attack cards from being attacked in the initial round.
The strategy for this battle took into account the rules set, and I bet on cards that I could attack first in the battle.

Seeing the opponent's formation, I can say that he chose a similar strategy in relation to my cards, but my strategy has a slight advantage due to the low speed, having the opportunity to be the first to attack.
My greatest asset is Ant Miners, now let's see if it applies Scavenger or is immediately eliminated by the Parasitic Growth attack.

Let the battle begin!

Suspance to see who will start the battle....
And who will start the battle is....

Battering Ram starts the fight!
Great for me, increasing Ant Miners one health point would no longer be targeted by the opponent's Parasitic Growth card, and my card would still attack as well, so here the fight has taken a turn in the course of the rounds, since Ant Miners will survive the first round.
Wow is my Parasitic Growth performing the second attack in the battle, and taking another opponent's card out of the arena, and my trump starts to see his health increased.

Scavo Firebolt held his own with the Sneak attack in the first round, but he will be the target of the Opportunity attack and has no way of surviving, but he has done his duty in this battle by surviving the first attack and doing damage to Living Lava, plus his elimination helps Ant Miners with their health.
With the elimination of my Opportunity attack cards, my attacks will only focus on the opponent's tank, while the opponent attacks with three different cards and attack types, and I will only be able to eliminate the Opportunity and Sneak abilities when they reach the front line of the battle.
Ant Miners wait patiently for their chance to enter the battle, meanwhile enjoying their health points.

After a few rounds, the battle enters its decisive moment where there is only Ant Miners left on my side and Tenyii Striker on the opposing side.
Clearly my card has a huge advantage due to its Scavenger ability that allowed it to increase its health throughout the battle, and now it's her turn to go on the attack and show why she was chosen for this battle. It only needs to hit one attack for the battle to be considered over, and it has everything at its disposal for that to happen.

Starting round seven, Ant Miners comes in from rest and starts the round with his attack and it's done, he eliminates his opponent's last card and the battle is over.

With this battle I went on a winning streak in a row and it allowed me to stay in the Silver League where I had just moved up, and by doing the Daily Quest with Splinter Fire I had the chance to finish the Quest and open two Chests.

Consequently in the opening of the two Chests I was lucky enough to win a Golden Epic card which is quite unlikely to happen and thus increased the power of my collection by 2500 which is very good.

Ant Miners was a good option due to their ability, I was lucky enough to be the first attacker in the battle and it allowed the battle to take a different turn.
Scavo Firebolt fulfilled its intended role and I can say that my strategy for this battle worked as planned.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem
