An Eye In The Sky Watching A Battle Unfold

This clip shows very traditional kind of warfare with the only difference being the drone hovering above the battlefield and coordinating what I presume to be mortar fire. In the video, Russian infantrymen attack an Ukrainian position across an open field. A very difficult task if the defender has a mortar team as fire support and a drone operator acting as a spotter.

Rounds with proximity fuses caused most of the casualties. A round that explodes only after penetrating the ground is much more survivable.
