The Splinterlands community spoke and the Splinterlands team took notice. It was long suggested that Splinterlands include Holiday Sales and one off sales for Splinterland packs and other promos. This year (2022) we get just that and what a sale it is. If for some reason you were waiting to purchase Chaos Legion Packs or Tower Defense packs now would be the time (Not Financial Advice). This Holiday Sale/ End of Season Sale is currently ongoing. You have until the date of Wednesday, December 21st @ 5pm Eastern Time (US) to take part in the End Of Year Sale. Lets hear your opinions on the above deals below in the comment section. Personally I think this is a great deal for anyone looking to build their collection and has the tokens to do so. If you are strapped for liquid funds as many are there is still the promo card in which one can earn for each pack purchased (including ones purchased directly from the Splinterlands site: No form needed). It would of been nice to see some lower bulk purchase deals but I can understand why there wasn't. Giving out too much for too little can potentially hurt the overall value of said packs and possibly have a negative impact on the Splinterlands economy as a whole. That being said, I still would of liked to see a smaller bonus deal being offered. Example: 10 + 1 bonus pack deal with a one purchase per account limitation that also included the promo card. The Promo Card details have not been released yet but its speculated to be a common card.

These look like the finance options for purchasing a car to me 🤣 the numbers are soooo BIG. In fact, I would never spend $100k on a car probably not even $50k
Spending $100K on a car, I'd have to be filthy rich before even thinking about it. The moment you start that thing and drive it off the lot it loses value. Hopefully Splinterlands listens to the feedback and next time entry point is a little lower. However I do understand how they have to be careful with such things.

I have doe it these are the best I've seen ill be able to flip half pay back cost air drops in. My q50k will basically be paid back by selling 1/3 and getting 25000 air drop packs adds my balance of drops to 80-90 a drop or say even 100 if u get no gold 2500x4 10k plus 20ksold for around 2 or flip rent cards

Thanks for the smooth info my friend as always! I would like to ask some questions and for advice if you were in my situation. I don't know what's better for me. I've managed buying 640 CL packs. I don't know if participate into the bulk buy or doing in my own. What pros and cons i've got? I am a bit lost. I've seen that you get the promo card also with private buys, not only the bulk ones.... What would u do if u were in my place?

While I can't give any direct response on how you should spend your funds. I will say there is multiple ways one could decide to go and it still be a good deal. Which deal is better no-one knows for sure. Lets take a look at a few options.
(1) Group Purchase: I haven't dug into who is offering what in group deals but I do know that there is a group currently named CLP. Here is the link: https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@nealmcspadden/sneak-peek-clp-chaos-legion-promo-packs-are-live. This same person ran a group purchase for Chaos Legion packs and everything went smooth. The minimum threshold is very low at 2700 DEC/ No Vouchers needed. Limited details are posted about the offer thus far but its likely more details will be posted soon.
(2) Purchase by oneself below the bulk deal: no worries on if someone will pull the rug from underneath you. Purchasing directly from site will still get you one PROMO card for each pack purchased. That is still a decent offer but the one that gives the least amount of ROI.
(3) The most obvious one is purchasing the bulk offers oneself. Not that easy to do for everyone as the min threshold is $10,000 and if one did have the min threshold it certainly be wise to seek out some friends that would be willing to bulk order together for the added benefits the higher tiers offer. Risk are involved here but Splinterlands minimizes those risks with allowing up to five accounts in each bulk buy.
(4) Secondary Markets: Chaos Legion packs USD worth are hitting all time lows on secondary markets as those who hold them try to sell them off to get funds to participate in this end of year sale. While it might make sense for them to do that it also might make sense for others to not participate in the End of Year sale but instead stalk up on packs via the secondary markets. The downside to this is you won't get any promo card nor will you get any added airdrop points. Keep in mind you can purchase a handful of packs from Splinterlands and get airdropped the same amount of PROMO cards as packs purchased and participate in option (4) as well.
So as you see there are many options and each path has its benefits. Only you know what one is best for you. I hope this has helped you find the path you want to take.

Hard to decide if buying packs as part of the deal makes sense, or if it's better to wait until everyone who buys packs sells them for cheap later on. The promo card could end up being really cheap, too. Or it could be an awesome card. It's hard to know. Decisions, decisions.
