BBQ feast at the top of the Mountain.

This was the first day of our mountain tour. We are thinking of having something different at the dinner. And what would be the best than BBQ, right?

In this mountain valley, there are only a few restaurants but most of them offer bbq. So it's convenient for the tourists to have a nice feast. We booked Sajek Seni Lushai Cottage & Restaurant for our dinner. The place was decent and the food was nice

The second and third photos are of the interior of the restaurant. We were late for the dinner, it was around 10.30 PM so there were no others but our whole group. We enjoyed the dinner while chatting and having good family time.

Then comes the menu of the place. They offer mostly Banglai food and the price range was quite affordable. We booked the restaurant for the whole tour, from breakfast to dinner. And it didn't cost us much.

During the evening, most restaurants open their bbq chimney. As this mountain valley is pretty narrow, the smoke makes quite a mess. But guess what, you wouldn't mind smelling the amazing bbq meat on the air. It sure made us hungry!

You can choose the sides with the bbq. We choose paratha and salad. They provided pickles, sauce, and soft drinks with the dish. I wouldn't say the bbq was 10/10 but it was not bad. Especially, the environment made the dinner much more enjoyable.

The last photo is from outside of the restaurant, from the valley. It was crowded at the night, after dinner. Every tourist was walking around, chatting, and hanging in the tea stalls. Some restaurants also offer live music. So the whole environment was pretty vibing.

This dinner made it a hundred times better.
