Some tea breaks with the locals
Good Morning and greetings dear Hivers. How's your weekend going? Today I wanna share with you some of the local snacks or tea break at Sitiawan Perak, Malaysia which I visited a few days back. Join me and I'll show you more.
Upon reaching the shop, the customer are waiting for their famous pao ( bun as we called in ENG). Most of them is old or regular customer. Quiet and clean environment makes it a perfect place to enjoy their afternoon tea ( Malaysia style).
Lady boss busy filling up the order from customer. Some dine in and some takeaway. But mostly dine in filled up the most. Kitchen area are up to standard as well. Clean and well maintain I must say.
They used this as steamer for the pau ( Bun). Traditional way of steaming from China from the older time.
Just beside there's another shop that offer variety choices of snack. From rice to noodle, fried to soup, traditional cake to modern banana cake, dessert and much much more. Price wise is <$1. Would you give it a try?
Ice kacang ( ice bean or red bean ice) in local dialect. Shaved iced with ice cream on top and toppings at the bottom. Coated with condensed milk and some evaporated milk for the sweetness. Really suitable for this hot summer here.
After your meal you can have a short walk around here as well. So would you like to have some ice during this summer? Well that's for today. Thank you for your kind support and see you next time. Bye.
Thank you for using ECENCY
