Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, is a Japanese Manga series which was later created into an anime television series in April 2019. A teenager Tanjiro Kamado the protagonist of the series who looses his family due to the attack of demons. During that event, his younger sister is eventually turned into demon. Being the sole survivor of his family as a human, Tanjiro Kamado sets out to seek revenge for his family and looks out for a way to cure his sister to bring her back to human.

The anime series was originally written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. Demon Slayer has two season aired so far, which consists of 44 episodes. Currently available on Netflix. The franchise became very popular and upon estimating, it was able to break various records of sales till date.

• Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba , season one which aired in the year 2019 consists of 26 episodes.

• Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train , season two aired in the year 2020-2021. Season two was divided into two different sequences. The first part was released as Mugen Train and the second part as Entertainment District Mugen train had seven episodes and it aired from October 10, 2021 to November 28, 2021.

• Entertainment District Arc, consists of 11 episodes in total. Aired from December 2021 to February 2022.

Tanjiro Kamado a teenage boy who lives with his family happily. One day he was out of town and on that particular night his family got attacked by a demon. Everyone was killed and one of his sister was turned into a demon. He set out to be a demon slayer and seek revenge. While searching a way to undo what was done to his sister.

The demon slayers are a group of people of a secret society who hunts down demons. Although the demons were once human, who were turned to demon from human by the Muzan Kibutsuji. Muzan has an ability which is tranfered to humans from his blood which gives demons special powers such as regeneration, speed and so on.

Along the way of Kamado's journey, he gets to meet various people who trains him and makes him a better version of himself. He trains hard and eagerly awaits for his chance to be a demon slayer and get back the revenge he seeks. Along his journey he meets Zenitsu Agatsuma who possess special ability of speed and heightened stamina and much more. He gets to unleash his abilities as the story goes ahead. While these two became friends another companion gets added to these circle of two. Inosuke Hashibira who becomes a demon slayer. Their journey of becoming a demon slayer will keep you entertained through all the episodes of these anime series.

During various situations these young friends gets to face death which allows them to unleash their hidden talent. While the series approaches kamado and his other comrades gets to meet the leaders of different squads of demon slayers, who are also known as Hashira. Every one of Hashiras has unique qualities which makes them unique and in the episodes broadcasted so far we were able to see two to three hasiras abilities in full fledged battles. While the anime keeps on going other hashiras abilities will unfold and we will get to see what they are capable of.

Not only that, but the intrigue feeling that you will feel upon watching the episodes it will make you keen to watch the rest of the episodes. Sword fights might be a common way to see a battle but all together a different realm has been created and the uniqueness of the battles, qualities, power is not something that we have seen.

I was keen to watch this anime via a recommendation from a friend. Here's a glimpse of an episode which might give you the idea about this anime.
