Happy Vijaydashmi
Hello and Namaste Everyone
I am wishing you all a very happy Vijaydashmi. It is a festival season in India and this war started with Navratri. This is a fasting festival for the 9th day and once that is over the 10th day is called Vijay Dashmi. Today is that day and this day is celebrated very well in India. This day is celebrated as winning over evil and now next month will be full of festivals that will end post-Diwali. Deepavali is one of the biggest festivals and I like it a lot.
During the festival time, there are so many things happening in the market and these markets are very well decorated. Today it is Saturday and on this festival day, I went outside with my kids to have a fun time and also to see some celebrations happening around. Everyone tries to do that over the weekend and it is great that the festival is also on Saturday so people get more time. Generally, if some festivals fall on weekdays then not everyone gets time because sometimes their work is not allowed. Some people get the holiday but some people don't so when they don't get the holiday it is really sad but whoever gets it becomes happy because they can enjoy the time with their family and friends.
I went to the mall and I think this is good because they normally celebrate a lot and in the mall also there was some local market setup. Near my house, there was also some plan to burn Ravan but I could not see this because I was out.
This was the market where a lot of good stuff was available and people were buying. It's like festival shopping it is fun because we get the opportunity to buy many things to decorate house and also to buy something in clothing. I like doing shopping and I think all the girls are big-time fans of shopping so whenever they are given the chance they are ready to do this.
There was some installation for decoration stuff and also for some packed foodstuff along with different materials. But overall it was good because it was very well designed and all the stalls were next to each other. It was also fun for the kids to play around and that's what my younger son liked a lot because he got the time to play with other kids. I was happy to see him playing around and this is what I wanted to do so finally the purpose of this outing was done. The celebration wasn't well and also we all had some fun time to spend together and that's how the day went over.
I got back from the celebration a bit late and drafting this post now. Generally, I post during the day but because of the festival it could not happen today and it is fine because family is always the priority for me now I am happy to share my experience and also some clicks for you lovely people. I hope that you like the photos I shared.
Thank you so much
