It’s coming on dusk and some of the wildlife are leaving their homes deep in the forest to search for food as night falls.

The fairy of the forest watches over the trees and the animals while the barbarian guards the stag. The stag is the sacred animal of his tribe and no one is allowed to harm it on penalty of death.

Thank you dear A.G. The raccoon and the skunk are regular visitors around here. 😆

The fires in Nova Scotia are still going and about 150 homes have been lost to date. So far no fires on the Island. I won’t complain of the rain we are suppose to get the next few days as there is danger of fire starting with all the bush laying in the woods after Fiona.
