Greetings Everyone and peace to all the ghouls and ghosts waiting for Halloween.

On this one day, according to Celtic mythology, the guarded doors to the otherworld are opened to let the spirits and the dead cross over into the world of the living.

I used @shaka’s lovely barren landscape to make a scary Halloween scene. A forbidden land with a warning to ‘Beware Go Back!’

The bats are wonderful! You are quite and artist. The sky, with a spooky face in the clouds, the barn: everything is perfect. What a great, creepy Halloween scene. Wonderful fun.

Really creative. I love the warning sign. But the guard should really scare anyone away who dare to venture too close. Nicely done.

I don't like the scary movies as well. For October, we've been innundated with them. Made me forget how many there were in addition to the traditional series, Halloween. I rush through the channels so I won't catch a glimpse of them.

Thanks Joan and for the LUV. Halloween has always been a big event here. There is usually many parties going on to celebrate. At Halloween, many children will dress in masquerade and knock on neighbors doors saying, “Trick or treat. Most household are prepared and the child will receive a treat of candy or something else to eat. They carry a bag with them and the parents can check all their goodies out when they get home. I have pleasant memories of Halloween and the lovely people who made special treats such as fudge and Carmel popcorn balls to hand out to the trick and treaters. 👻 🎃

When everyone joins in, it must be most entertaining, fun being able to go out with friends or siblings as children at night dressed up having a good time.
