Not There Yet But Not Static Either
The crypto airdrop space has been looking so dry recently, we finally received our Hamster airdrop and just as expected it was a dust. The main goal of airdrop is to onboard lots of crypto newbies from Web 2.0 into Web 3.0, lots of ways have been tried in the past but the telegram way seemed to had done the job, in terms of population, Hamster actually did the job, brought over 100 Million people into its space. Although most of the recorded can be considered as Sybil, with this amount of people patiently waiting for an airdrop, its means they have a lot of money to spend which means that the ratio of people available compared to the amount of money ready to be disbursed means that a lot of people will have to settle for dust.

I won’t say I am disappointed because I expected it, the supply was a lot and the people who participated in the airdrop were a lot, when supply is a lot and demand is very small, what do you expect the value to be? Exactly, very low. More people know about crypto now but are they satisfied? Most of them are not satisfied because of the high hopes they had when doing the tasks, well, welcome to crypto is all I have to say to them.
The crypto space is a tough space to be in, one second you are hopeful about a project, the next second you are regretting your life decisions. Whenever people ask me about crypto and show interest I always tell them to develop passion for it first because you will need the passion to keep going when things become extremely tough in the crypto space.
