Gambling on JPEGs and meme coins leads to short term dopamine hits

Some few weeks ago I blogged about how some certain people made huge profits in crypto within their first few weeks in crypto because they were lucky enough to had gambled on memecoins at the right time and they made life changing money that a lot of people who have been in the crypto space haven’t made. But most times these people dont tell you about their losses, just their wins, you dont hear them telling you that just as easy it was for them to make huge profit from these memecoins and NFTs, they probably lost it. You know that high confidence you have in yourself when you are gambling and winning thinking the whole world is in your favour, making you take bigger risks. I am so sure that most of these people feel the same and must have gambled their profit for bigger profit and lost. But you dont hear them say these.

But long terms invest goal is the best, it creates some form of longevity and sustainability, this way you know you are set for the rest of your life. The short term dopamine gambling on NFTs and memecoins give is very addictive and it can ruin your crypto portfolio. For every gamble you make you always think that it is your next big break, it will only take discipline to have you stop gambling on memecoins and NFTs, because these projects have no utilities just short term gains of pump and dump. Instead focus on long terms projects and build on them, it is very important to build on yourself too. The bear market is here, we are experiencing it some people have left crypto because they are not making money, they dont see opportunities, but we all know that the bear market is the time to build.

Hive is a long term chain, its a decentralised chain that I see a future of sustainability and longevity with, how I wish more people would put the same energy they put on shitty projects like memecoins and NFTs with no utility on Hive, they won’t regret it.
