Failure And Bear Market Is An Event Not A Person
Funny how we can go through a lot of successful experience but the moment we experience failure we let it define us and think it is the end of the world. I experienced this a lot during my Forex trading days, I could have weeks of successfully trading and have a day of bad trade and automatically start feeling like a failure. But constantly reminding myself it was just an event and doesn’t define me was a way I used to make myself feel better, because Succes and failure are events, but I can’t say they completely define us.

Successful people have gone from being successful to experiencing intense failure, but we are made to believe that success defines us but not failure because the world tend to tilt towards positivity most times. Hence the reason we always hope for better days when we are in a not successful state. As a crypto investor, who is a spot trader with a lot of crypto investments, the bear market is usually seen as a moment of failure. Except they have a passive means of earning, no one loves buying high and selling low, makes us feel like a failure, because this means we are at loss.
The bear market doesn’t have to define you, no matter the amount of loss you must have made in the bear market you shouldn’t write yourself off as a failure. This is the reason we need to consider the money lost in the market as a tuition paid for a lesson. Look for the lesson and learn from it, because you can’t get it back and revenge trading is one of the worst things you can do to yourself, most people that revenge trade end up losing more and end up regretting.
Learning to let go of your loss and moving on us a very healthy act. The moment you realize that the market doesn’t care about your feelings is the moment you start feeling better about your failures. Doing your research before investing is very important but doesn’t guarantee full 100% success in trading as many things could go wrong. Lots of people have given up in crypto and whatever they had passion for based on failures they have had, but then, no one said it was easy, they only said it was worth the while.
