Ask Leo: Why Are You In Crypto & Hive
This seems like a question that needs a honest answer from anyone who wouldn’t mind sharing in my comment section. For instance, I can start by telling you why am on Hive, then later proceed to why am in crypto.

So I joined Hive because I felt I wasn’t valued in my provided place of work, I felt my earnings there were not my worth, I worth more than just expecting $60 every month from my boss. Most times my salary gets delayed and I have to wait for weeks. So I left and decided to look for a platform where I could make money using my mobile phone. I found Hive/Leofinance and decided to join, but made a life commitment to stay for the community. I want to see Hive progress so greatly that I have to gather my grandkids around and give them a 5 hours story of how I watched the the greatest blockchain platform in the world change the way people socialize and earn money.
Why Are You In Crypto
Lots of people especially newbies don’t really know why they are into crypto or why they are buying bitcoin. All they know is that bitcoin is the trending coin that makes people rich, the price looks really attractive. I joined crypto in 2018 because my friend told me that crypto made him rich and through the money he made from crypto he bought his first car. So I bought my first bitcoin because I wanted to be rich like my friend, but that was the push I needed to study bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
After buying my first coin, my interest in trying to read and understand chart grew. I learnt technical analysis to help me understand chart reading properly. But this was way before cryptocurrency became this popular. Although most people saw crypto currency to be a scam, my previous boss was one of the few who believed that crypto has a future and encouraged me to stick to it.
2019/2020 was the year i realized that while some people actually joined crypto to make money or believed in the future, some people joined to show off. They joined because crypto is a trend and they love to join the trend. They have no idea how to buy or sell, they just want to be able to take screenshots of their bitcoin accounts and post it on social media. They sometimes do this to sound financially smart online.
We have those people that joined crypto because they want to make so much money they can afford to buy a Lamborghini. I’m honestly on this table, while believing in crypto, it’s use case and utilities, I want to make so much money from crypto I can afford to buy myself a Lamborghini someday.
Some people are in the crypto space especially Hive because they want to acquire knowledge. Hive being a centralized social media platform on a Web 3.0 blockchain makes them feel unique in gaining knowledge and sharing knowledge. Hard to find people on this space purely for the knowledge, not for the money, but they exist.

The problem most people encounter in cryptocurrency is the fact that they do not understand what cryptocurrency is before joining the train. This is why most cryptocurrency exchanges are embarking on crypto education.
Today, most people confined themselves to buying the dip and selling during the bull because that's the trending system, whereas there are tons of ways to make it from cryptocurrency.
Sure, but sometimes getting into the game gives you an insight of what the game is, also sparks your interest in wanting to know how the game works.
A: To get outside of the "system"
B: To regain some control of my "money"
C: To get rich! :-)
