Ask LEO: Have You Ever Degen & How Was The Experience(Good Or Bad)?

In my opinion I think degen should be called a playful gamble, you must have heard people talk about degen into a project, it could be NFTs or token. Degen is the short word for degenerate and it means buying into any crypto project without doing your own research, but buying because you fell in love with the marketing or shilling or with the beautiful digital art design of the project. It could be just any stupid reason that doesn’t involve doing your research about the project. When degen, you are opening your mind to being rekt and also the possibility of mooning.

I know we always scream do your own research but some people degen just for fun, and its an easier way of telling people to invest without doing their research so if they get rekt you won’t be held responsible. When you ask someone to degen, they know the risks involved. I have degen so many times especially on meme coins because I know the risks and reward involved and I have had good experiences and bad ones. I degen on a Solana meme coin in January and I regret doing it because as expected I lost my money. I degen on some coins last two weeks and I made profit but after the act I decided to do my own research on the coins and realised that they were ZK roll up coins, which were Zero Knowledge coins and they happen to be trending when I degen.

I personally don’t like degen only when I have excess money and I am feeling risky I degen, because I don’t like losing money when I dont have excess, few days ago someone degen on an arbitrum meme coin with $82 and made $1,500. That is a huge profit right there but I know I won’t be using such amount to degen as its too much and I know that after my first 100% profit I am pulling out. I can’t afford to not take profit snd regret later. Degen is fun but can be very annoying when you get rekt.
