The barred swallowtail | Polytremis lubricans

On a calm and peaceful morning I decided to take a walk around the park. The garden is the most comfortable place to relax or calm the mind, there will be lots of things to enjoy, from cool air, beautiful flowers, insects and so on. The park always gives us the best, just as we humans will give the best to fans. Just like parks, parks will provide the best for their visitors.

Well, this time on my visit to the park, I was greeted by this beautiful creature, she was basking in the morning sunlight. I was amazed by his attractive appearance. I immediately approached it to see at a closer distance. She is truly beautiful and stunning. The front wings are raised upwards or in a diagonal shape while the hind wings are left flat. Very interesting. Seeing this butterfly is like watching a plane landing at the airport, very similar.

In my area, this butterfly is known as the barred swallowtail, some also call it the small butterfly. Meanwhile, in Latin this butterfly is known as "Polytremis lubricans". This butterfly is one of the butterflies that has unique characteristics. What I found unique about this butterfly is the way it stands and its flying technique. It flies very fast. And the feathers also look very thick, other butterflies rarely have feathers that thick.
