Leopard butterfly | Phalanta phalantha

Hello everyone, good afternoon wherever you are, how are you this afternoon? Hope you are fine wherever you are.

I"m back here again and on this occasion I want to show some beautiful shots of the Phalanta phalantha butterfly or better known as the leopard butterfly. This butterfly is a type of butterfly that has a very unique wing pattern. As the name of the leopard butterfly suggests, the pattern on its two wings really resembles a leopard. The basic color of both wings is orange and decorated with black spots. This unique pattern is what makes this beautiful butterfly get the title leopard butterfly. It's very similar indeed.

This butterfly is a medium sized butterfly and is also easy to find. To look for butterflies, of course we have to go to their habitat, such as a park with colorful flowers or other open places. The point is, butterflies like fresh green environments. When the sun began to shine again, these butterflies also began to actively visit the colorful flowering gardens again. In my area it is currently the rainy season. Today it happened that it wasn't raining and the sun was starting to shine, that's when the butterflies went on holiday to the park. They come to flowers to suck the nectar as food. As I found, this butterfly was in the garden but it was not sucking nectar but was perched on one of the leaves of the plant there.
