🌻🌻🌻

Hello friends of the Family & Friends Community, my dad's 43rd birthday is coming up, so I am thinking about his gift and also about how important he is in my life. The father figure is very important and when your father is an active person in your life, together they have a good relationship, it is a special achievement for him, although sometimes as children it takes us a while to realize when dad is making an effort.
My dad's 43rd birthday is a special date and I want to give him a gift, this year has been very hard for him in terms of his health, lately he has been resting due to the condition of his spine, a situation that worries me a lot, it is not easy to see our parents cry when they are in pain, this year I have had to see my dad cry for everything that happens with his health. This post is special, I want to express a little of my gratitude and love towards my dad, share with all of you a little of my feelings.

How do I get along with my dad?

My dad and I are very close, I have a lot of trust with him, I always tell him everything that happens to me, I share my concerns with him and, for as long as I can remember, we always have a lot of confidence to talk. Once I listened to an audio that said that the eldest daughter is her father's reflection. Thinking a little bit about all that we have in common, my dad and I realize that it makes sense that audio. My dad always has advice for me, he knows when I'm upset and I try to hide it, when I'm sad and I try not to let anyone notice, he knows me very well. I respect him a lot, next to him I feel protected, he always makes me smile with his jokes, every day when I am with him he makes me laugh out loud. I hadn't thought about how lucky I am until I started to see my dad lamenting about his health, looking at the fear in his eyes and feeling helpless. These are moments when you feel like your world is falling apart, but now it's up to you to be strong for him, to support him, to be by his side as he recovers. After all these years, I can say that I am fortunate that God gave me this father. My friend, my teacher, my guide, my treasure. Words fall short to express how special he is in my life.

What is my father like?

My father is a very understanding, kind, humble, protective, hardworking, caring and loving person; that is the way he has shown himself in my life. My friends are always surprised because I tell them that I always have a lot of trust with my dad, that I look at him as my best friend, there are times when they don't believe me, but after I show them the proof of our trusting relationship they are surprised because they don't have that freedom to share with their parents what is going on with them. I respect my dad a lot and he knows how to keep the limit at home, things in order, the more respect the more trust he always tells me, when he has to place order he does it, that has kept us obedient and without the need to hit us as other parents do, a direct word and punishments if necessary, far from insults and blows, that's why I always say that I am happy at home next to my parents.
Even my brother also has a nice relationship with my dad. My friends tell me that my dad is like that with me because he is a Christian and I tell him no, that my dad has always had a nice fatherly relationship with me and my brother, even before he was a Christian, is a man very concerned about his children. I once told my mom that my dad is my best example to follow, I always keep in mind his advice, words that I share with my friends when they want to go off the rails, I talk to them like my dad talks to me, straight to the point with a lot of sincerity, without beating around the bush, my dad is very sincere with his children.

My concern for your health

Parents always strive to get ahead with their children, they work long hours to earn a salary and cover their family's needs. They are a figure of perseverance and protection; however, they are also human beings whose health can be affected when we least imagine it. It's still those moments when they try to be strong and confident. My dad is like that all the time. When I hear him lament about the pain he feels in his back, my heart goes out to him. I wish he would heal fast, there are recoveries that take time and, when it is your father, you want to be by his side to take care of him, to encourage him. He worries about his children when they get sick. Same with children, we care for them when they are sick because we love them, we want them to be well. The roles change in life, in the beginning, they take care of us when we get sick. There comes a time when you have to take care of them with the same love that they would do for you, with patience. At the end of the day, I am here for my father, with love and willing to support him, even if he does not express words in the midst of this whole health process.
