Ghost of Tsushima | The Prologue.

At last I decided to play Ghost of Tsushima that tells me I might have an epic journey ahead though I'm not sure how it might be in the long run as I noticed a friend talking about it in a post before and I guess he tried to express its story becomes slower or repetitive but let's see.

You'll watch me fight as Jin Sakai who is the head and sole remaining member of Clan Sakai and a samurai warrior. And this I'll cover the prologue in this post.

My gameplay in YouTube:

The video above has my solid 10 minutes of gameplay where I witnessed the first glimpse and the prologue of the game, tried my first fight and witnessed the emotional concept of the beloved uncle of the protagonist getting eliminated when the protagonist himself died (almost).

The photo in the game menu attracted mee the most right when I opened the game. It's a live wallpaper where the grasses and the winds were having movements.

I started a new game and I understood the specific location is named Tsushima though I wonder why there's a "T" before sushima when we have to pronounce it with "s". I guess its a real place in Japan.

The views in the cinematic looked epic and I understood the preparation of a great war and it were the ninja warriors of Japan against the Mongolians.

That's my character Jin Sakai along with his uncle and there's Harunobu Adachi who is the descendant of the legendary Yoshinobu Adachi.

When the ninja warriors were preparing with their swords and shields, there came hundreds of warships of the Mongolians.

Adachi reached the Mongolians alone and asked the outsiders to send their finest warrior to face him and a muscle man came forward and he's Khotun Khan, the leader of the Mongolians.

Adachi asked for a fair fight as he has beliefs in honor but the Mongolian first burned him and then beheaded him which is no honor in a battle.

Includes me, hundreds or thousands of ninja warriors started riding their horses to avenge the death of Adachi and to teach the Mongolians a great lesson.

I started attacking the Mongolians from my horse and I kept riding the horse when the Mongolians kept trying to take me down and fire arrows kept comin towards us.

Both my horse and mu character fell getting fire arrows and it looked like the horse was gone already and my character was stuck under the horse.

A Mongolian was coming to take Jin down when he was trying to get to his sword but he couldn't and his uncle Shimura came over and saved him.

I got up and started fighting the Mongols. My character seemed strong enough to fight all the Mongolians at once so I kept fighting them.

The photo mode of this game is quite different than most of the photo mode we've noticed in video games history. The moving flames and river waters are part of the photo mode, I mean the photo mode is like live wallpaper which is really cool.

After moving deeper, Jin and his uncle Shimura decided to take down Khotun Khan, the leader of the Mongolians.

But before they could reach the Mongolian, some fire arrows or maybe a cannon ball fell in front of them and they fell.

Shimura was captured and Jin got an arrow in his back but still he tried to get to his sword so he could save his uncle but another arrow hit his back and it seemed like he died.

The Mongolian leader went to Shimura and after tried convincing him, Khotun asked Shimura if he surrenders.

It looked like Shimura was confused though I believed he wouldn't surrender and as he was silent, Khotun Khan swayed his warrior.

And there Jin started breathing after a wind started flying around his sword. I guess he has connection with winds or something.

That's all for now. I'll write about more of this story again soon. Be safe till we meet again.
Au revoir/Goodbye.

All the screenshots are my take from my play and I tried canva to edit the thumbnail.

I never really found the story to be reptitive at all. I mean some of the side activities are but the main story? No.

Sounds great, thanks for the clearance. I hope I'll enjoy the main story to the fullest.

I immediately fell in love with the graphical quality of this game. Wow, it looks amazing and the backstory seems to have enough appeal to make for an incredibly immersive experience.

The last image is heartbreaking; a lot of visual power... Simply stunning.

I have been seeing ads of this game for some time and it looks interesting now (after going through this blog). Will it work on a low end pc ? 😅
