From a client to a lover: Kassy's diary

Love is a beautiful thing and the beauty is in the hands of the lovers. Love is to be cherished because it's rare.

Tony is a well-known young businessman, he has charisma and wealth. He had been building his business since his university days and by the time he was done schooling, he had already established his business as a real estate agent, and a big clothing manufacturer. He has a company where he produces his wares and he is a brand owner, as a young man who is just out of school, he has a lot of ladies at his beck and call.

As many as the ladies disturbing him were, he never got distracted, I guess he is one kind young man who is rare to find. He is a disciplined young man who doesn't joke with his businesses, he had a friend named Titus who was always a pin in the neck. Titus is a good friend of his who always looks out for him and makes sure he has time for fun because he is always busy with work. "Hey buddy, we are going to the club tonight, get ready", Titus said to Tony one afternoon when he paid Tony a visit in his office.

Tony smiled and replied," I'm not a party freak and you know that but I will think about it", Titus nodded and sighed knowing fully well that his friend might not go to the club with him. Later that night, Tony agreed to go with Titus to the club around 8 pm. After a few minutes of arriving at the club, Tony got a call from one of his clients who had purchased certain clothing from his clothing manufacturing company but didn't get her goods delivered as promised. Immediately Tony became disturbed and he couldn't wait at the club.

He bided his friend goodbye and left the club hurriedly, he got home and placed a call to the manager but he couldn't get through to him. Tony tried calling the secretary of the clothing firm and luckily enough, her phone went through. Tony spoke angrily to the secretary demanding to know the reasons why the client's goods hadn't been delivered to her. "Hello, what's wrong with you people over there?, a client named Ms. Kassy called me to report that her goods had not been delivered after being promised today and I couldn't get through to the manager".

Tony was already furious and he banged the call. He called Ms. Kassy just to apologize for the mistakes of his workers. "Hello madam, I'm so sorry for the delay ma, something came up and they should have called to inform you but I apologize on their behalf", Tony said to Kassy on the phone. Kassy who was annoyed before became calm with the way Tony spoke with her and she replied "It's okay sir, I'm glad you answered my call and attended to it yourself, that means a lot, I will await the delivery when it's ready, thank you so much and have a lovely night rest".

It was as if Kassy's words melted Tony's heart, he dropped the phone and smiled, "she had a beautiful voice", Tony said smiling to himself as he lay on his bed. The next morning, Tony went to his clothing firm and sorted Kassy's goods himself. He called up Kassy to inform her that her goods would be delivered in a few hours. "Hello madam, I'm sorry for the delay, your goods will be delivered today unfailingly, thanks for your patience ", Tony said to Kassy on the phone as he eagerly awaited her response. "I'm glad you attended to it sir, thank you", Kassy replied, as she was about to say goodbye, Tony quickly chipped in, "You can call me directly whenever you need anything, and I will attend to you myself", Tony said blushing on the phone.

This made it the second time Kassy and Tony would be talking on the phone and Tony was already going over heels for Kassy. He hasn't seen her but the voice he does hear always melts his heart. Kassy is one of his biggest customers so she does have lots of goods to order from Tony's clothing firm. Since Tony gave her the privilege to call him directly, Kassy always put a call through to Tony himself. Weeks turned into months and both Kassy and Tony seemed to enjoy each other's company while talking on the phone.

In no time, their conversations were no longer business-based, they found it so comfortable to talk about personal things and both became good friends. They had been talking on the phone for several months but they had never met because they both lived in different states but in the same country. During the New Year celebration, Tony invited Kassy over to his place but she could not make it because she was quite busy but promised to visit him in February.

This made it easier for Tony as he was thinking of confessing his love to her when she came over hopefully on Valentine's Day. Tony called Kassy one night and asked if she could make it to his state on the 13th of February, a day before Valentine's Day. Kassy agreed and fortunately, she took a night flight to Tony's state on the 13th and lodged in a hotel even when Tony insisted on picking her up to stay at his house.

Kassy is an independent lady who wouldn't want anyone to take advantage of her, so she insisted on lodging at the hotel. Both parties couldn't wait for the day break as that was the first time they would be meeting face to face. Tomorrow will be a great day as Tony is preparing to confess his love to Kassy which I'm sure Kassy would not resist because she loved him too.
