Una pausa es necesaria (Esp/Ing)

Al mirar la página en blanco suspiré profundo, a veces, hay que buscar inspiración fuera de casa. La naturaleza te ofrece estímulos increíbles y salir a caminar ayuda a despejar la mente, se hace necesario hacer una pausa y repensar muchas situaciones que te roban la calma. La vida puede volverse un tanto cruel e injusta, solo queda remar para no hundirse demasiado, después de todo, disfruto estar a flote.

Caminé por el Parque Ayacucho y me topé con los chicos aficionados al skateboarding. Eso se ha convertido en una rutina, constancia y disciplina, dos cualidades que puedo observar en ellos. Me quedé un rato allí, quise llenarme de su jovialidad, esa pasión que sienten por el deporte. Recuerdo que de niña mis paseos en patineta no tenían resultados felices, sin embargo, la experiencia valía cada rasguño o moretón. Definitivamente, ya no me atrevería a subirme a una.

I walked through the Ayacucho Park and bumped into the kids who are fond of skateboarding. That has become a routine, constancy and discipline, two qualities that I can observe in them. I stayed there for a while, I wanted to fill myself with their joviality, that passion they feel for the sport. I remember that as a child my skateboard rides did not have happy results, however, the experience was worth every scratch or bruise. I definitely wouldn't dare to get on one anymore.

Fijar metas da una orientación y sentido a la existencia, quizás este grupo de jóvenes las tenga y estén vinculadas con esta actividad deportiva y recreativa. De lo que estoy segura es que tras cada caída u obstáculo no podemos sentirnos vencidos, aún cuando la derrota sepa amarga y se cuele finamente por los huesos. Seguimos en tanto el amor propio y la sabiduría nos acompañen.

Setting goals gives you an orientation and meaning to existence, perhaps this group of young people have them and are linked to this sport and recreational activity. What I am sure of is that after every fall or obstacle we cannot feel defeated, even when the defeat tastes bitter and it is finely strained through the bones. We continue as long as self-esteem and wisdom accompany us.
