Pizarra Mágica: destrezas de escritura (Esp/Ing)

Escribir es una habilidad que vamos adquiriendo paulatinamente, para algunos niños el proceso resulta complejo cuando se enfrentan a tal aprendizaje por diversas razones, entre ellas que en su entorno no les motivan a leer y escribir. De allí que debamos buscar alguna estrategia que haga el proceso divertido.

Writing is a skill that we acquire gradually, for some children the process is complex when they face such learning for various reasons, among them that in their environment they are not motivated to read and write. Therefore, we should look for a strategy that makes the process fun.

En tal sentido, considero que garabatear sería una de las primeras de forma de comunicación gráfica que presenciaremos en niños. A través de esta práctica podemos conocer sus destrezas, desarrollo cognitivo, coordinación ojos y manos, concentración e inclusive distinguir estados de ánimos.

In this sense, I believe that doodling would be one of the first forms of graphic communication that we witness in children. Through this practice we can learn about their skills, cognitive development, eye-hand coordination, concentration and even distinguish moods.

El desarrollo de Alma va muy bien, acorde a los niños de su edad. La semana pasada su madrina le regaló una pizarra mágica, de esas que se borran con deslizar una tecla. La pequeña nos sorprendió cuando agarró el lápiz con gran soltura y empezó a trazar líneas de forma intuitiva.

Alma's development is going very well, according to children of her age. Last week, her godmother gave her a magic board, one of those that can be erased by sliding a key. The little girl surprised us when she grasped the pencil with great ease and began to draw lines intuitively.

Ahora estamos intentando que copie las letras o domine las líneas, pero a ella solo le gusta llenar la pizarra de garabatos, luego busca quien borre y vuelve a garabatear, a veces, tratando de dibujar sus juguetes, mostrándose muy alegre con su capacidad de expresarse de esta manera.

Now we are trying to get her to copy the letters or master the lines, but she just likes to fill the board with scribbles, then looks for someone to erase and scribbles again, sometimes trying to draw her toys, being very happy with her ability to express herself in this way.

Utilizar papel no ha resultado como se esperaba porque prefiere doblar y romper que trazar, sin duda, la textura, forma y sonido al transformar el papel le resulta más cautivadoras. También hemos leído cuentos delante de ella, sin embargo, el egocentrismo propio de los bebés no le deja comprender el proceso de lectura, en este caso, se concentra en llamar la atención para que jueguen con ella.

Using paper has not turned out as expected because she prefers folding and tearing to tracing; undoubtedly, the texture, shape and sound of transforming the paper is more captivating for her. We have also read stories in front of her, however, the egocentrism typical of babies does not allow her to understand the reading process, in this case, she concentrates on attracting attention to play with her.

Así que hasta ahora el progreso en sus destrezas para escribir dependen de su desempeño en la pizarra mágica, una herramienta que nos ha resultado muy útil para, además de aprender, mantenerla ocupada, lejos de los dispositivos electrónicos.

So far the progress in her writing skills depends on her performance on the magic board, a tool that we have found very useful to keep her busy, away from electronic devices, as well as learning.
