Comodidad al lucir bella (Esp/Ing)

Las ocasiones especiales representan una oportunidad para lucir diferente ya que estamos saliendo de la cotidianidad. Me gustan estas situaciones porque dedico tiempo para arreglarme y eso me ayuda a sentirme bien. Estoy convencida que el reflejo proyectado por el espejo siempre debe agradarnos y por ello me esmero es cuidar mi imagen.

Special occasions are an opportunity to look different because we are getting out of the everyday. I like these situations because I dedicate time to dress up and that helps me feel good. I am convinced that the reflection projected by the mirror should always please us and that is why I take care of my image.

Esta vez me arreglé para acompañar a mi pequeña abeja a su segunda fiesta de cumpleaños. Me decidí por un estilo casual al vestir junto a mis zapatos deportivos que me generan seguridad y confianza, además son muy cómodos. Considero que era la combinación adecuada porque debía cuidar a Alma en todo momento, tarea que sería complicada calzando sandalias.

This time I got dressed up to accompany my little bee to her second birthday party. I decided to wear a casual style with my sport shoes that give me security and confidence, besides they are very comfortable. I think it was the right combination because I had to take care of Alma at all times, a task that would be complicated wearing sandals.

En esta ocasión usé una franela que dejaba un hombro al descubierto, de predominio blanco con un mosaico muy colorido en la zona frontal. Al ser una celebración infantil, evité lucir tonalidades oscuras de gris, negro o marrón.

On this occasion I wore a flannel that left one shoulder uncovered, predominantly white with a very colorful mosaic on the front. Since it was a children's celebration, I avoided wearing dark shades of gray, black or brown.

El pantalón también era muy cómodo, corte oversize confeccionado en tela microdurazno de color aguamarina. El contraste entre esta pieza y la franela me pareció el más adecuado para la ocasión, considero que estos colores transmiten alegría.

The pants were also very comfortable, oversize cut made in aquamarine microdurazno fabric. The contrast between this piece and the flannel seemed to me the most appropriate for the occasion, I think these colors convey joy.

Para completar el atuendo, un maquillaje sencillo donde destaca un labial rojo escarlata y un toque de sombra verde en los ojos. Me gustó lo que observé en el espejo y más aún cuando llevaba a Alma en los brazos, su vestido lucía en armonía con mi ropa.

To complete the outfit, a simple makeup with a scarlet red lipstick and a touch of green shadow on the eyes. I liked what I saw in the mirror and even more when I carried Alma in my arms, her dress looked in harmony with my outfit.

También caí en cuenta que atrás quedaron los días en los cuales me obsesionaba con lucir deslumbrante y por ello invertía bastante tiempo en arreglarme, ya esa jovencita no está, ahora es una mujer la que tiene el control y se inclina por lo estético y cómodo, dejando que sea su pequeña hija la protagonista de la velada.

I also realized that gone are the days when I was obsessed with looking dazzling and therefore invested a lot of time in getting ready, that young girl is no longer there, now it is a woman who is in control and is inclined to the aesthetic and comfortable, leaving her little daughter to be the protagonist of the evening.
