Have you ever see this ruleset ? This is the ruleset which gives all melee monster the ability of sneaking (attacking the backrow monster). With this ruleset, you can place all 6 melee monsters and they can attack from anywhere ! (normally, melee only attack from the front position, except they are given extra ability such as reach, opportunity, sneak). With this ruleset, the attack position's barrier are erased and makes melee monsters that often having better stats is having great advantage on the battlefield.

What most people would think ?
-Having a Backline Monster with Thorn or Shield Ability (To hurt back or reduce the melee damage)
-Having the demoralized ability (to reduce all melee damage)
-Having high armor monster (to block the melee damage)

You can name more common strategy that on the bold line is anticipating for the melee monsters.

But the surprise might comes, with magic monsters can doing their attack effectively when you only focus for the melee monsters. Here is the reason why magic can counter the strategy very much :
-Magic can attack from any position (yeah, without any ability, they can attack from any position);
-Magic can hit health point ignoring the shield, this is the main reason why magic is so deadly

This is the reason why I always try to ancitipate for both possibilities, the melee that coming from behind, and the magic that coming from the front.

Ruleset :

There is only super sneak ruleset, with water and earth element are the only available Splinters.

Here is the formation of both teams. For the front monster, I got the Oshanus which is perfect against the magic with it's void and phase ability. He also got the forcefield in case there is deadly melee monsters on the front.
I started to use the melee monster with the demented shark on 2nd position, then I got the monster with silence ability behind it, which can also support with the triage ability. On 4,5, and 6 position, I anticipate the melee monsters with having the monster that having shield ability, followed with the protect, forcefield, and evade ability. This is what I mean by ancitipating for both possibilities. Magic from front, and melee from behind !

How the Battle Goes

At the end of 1st round, both teams are still with 6 monsters on the fielnd. No one yet eliminated.

At the end of 2nd round, enemies tanker with the taunt ability is eliminated, while my teams are still complete but my back tanker is almost eliminated with just 1 health point left.

At the end of 3rd round, my tanker is eliminated, and left with 5-5 situation.

At the end of 4th round, enemies backline is eliminated, and his double strike melee monster is getting halved, this cause the major threat is reduced a lot. Meanwhile, my team still strong with 5 monsters, especially my Djin Oshanus which takes zero magic damage thanks for the silence and the void ability.

At the end of 5th round, it's still with 4-5 situation with no one is eliminated.

Now here is the major impact on the 6th round with my enemy is left with just 2 monsters left.

Such a great victory for my team, with the combination of magic and melee and anticipation of both of them as well !

Conclussion

Ruleset can give advantage to certain kind of monsters, such as the melee monsters on the super sneak ruleset, but never forget the opportunity of magic monster cause they can strike through health point ignoring the armor. Be prepared for all possibilities is the key to win the Splinterlands Matches.
