The Art Of Spraying Money In Clubs.
Spraying money in clubs is an act that is very rampant in the Nigerian society. I’m very sure this happens in every part of the world too but I’d only speak of the one happening here. I’ve been to countless numbers of clubs in this Lagos and I’ve seen cases where people are spraying millions of money.
At some point, I began to wonder where they usually get their money from but some of them engage in fraudulent activities, money laundering, robbery and all other things you can ever think of. That’s why it is always advisable not to do what others are doing since you don’t know how or where they are getting their money from.
Suddenly, I got closer to one of the ballers here in Lagos. Those who spray money in clubs or anywhere are mostly called ballers here. I asked him about the act of spraying money in clubs and he told me so many things. He mentioned that some of them are just living fake lives and they can’t even afford to rent a house where they’d be living. Isn’t it surprising? Why spray hundred of thousands of Naira in the club when you can’t even afford to rent a house where you’d be living and that’s why we see so many guys who live with twenty other guys in a three bedroom flat here on the island of Lagos. Isn’t that crazy?
He also mentioned that some of them spray money in clubs to impress girls. Why impress girls? Why impress some people who will not do you any good? They are doing that so they can get close to those girls and maybe sleep with them or something and it is really crazy. Then, some stupid girls will now fall for that fake life and render themselves useless by letting those guys who don’t have any reasonable thing to do with their future have their way with them.
Some people also spray moneh in clubs because they want to be mentioned as ballers. Isn’t that madness? Some of these guys live in a tattered house but come to the club to spray an amount of money that a wealthy man cannot spray in the club.
Why can’t they just think of what to do with the little money they are making? Why can’t they think of owning a business? Why can’t they think of buying some properties or maybe investing in real estate till it yields profit? Why can’t they think of investing in cryptocurrency? Those guys barely afford their three square meal cos they’d rather go hungry so they’d be able to spend money in clubs.
I don’t know if this happens in other countries too but I’m sure it will. It’s so crazy how we youths call ourselves leaders of tomorrow but we ain’t even acting like one because a real leader will not portray this kind of rubbish behavior. Anyway, everyone will be fine and the future will come. I wish to see how things will be.
I will never understand the logic of wishing to appear rich when you're not. It's like social media influencers who pose on a private jet as if they own one but it's literally a jet that sits in a parking lot and they rent it for an hour to take photos. People also sell empty "luxury" brand bags and boxes online so people can take those photos looking like they just shopped at whatever expensive store.
It's bad enough that actually rich people think it's cool to flaunt it, but others want to fake it? I don't understand. Do they really get paid from social media clicks the more they pretend maybe?
