Caregiving, A New Path For 2024.

I would not want it to look like I am praising myself too much but when I say that I am good at what I do, just know that I mean it. I have been praised countless times at work because I am very active and I do not joke with whatever I am supposed to do. The good thing is that I do not really like the job but I feel or believe that’s what is worth doing is worth doing the well and that is why I am always trying to make sure that I do what I am supposed to do at the right time even without anyone telling me.

I know a lot of people are not happy with my performance because I am doing better than them but the goal is not the competition but to help the children to learn. I am someone who cherishes children a lot and I can’t stand seeing a child suffer because I believe that no one is meant to suffer especially our children. This was said by Michael Jackson some years back on the stage though.
We’ve got autistic children in my school and there are therapists for each of them.

One of them called me today to praise me and also told me that if I am willing to make more money, he can link me up with his boss, tell me some courses to study so I can be a caregiver. He stated that I am firm and he has seen me handling children so many times and even the autistic ones. I asked if it would not disturb my career and the plans I’ve got for myself.

He gave me different examples that I may choose to work for just two hours with a child and I’d either get paid daily, weekly or however I wanted it.

He also stated that caregiving job is one of the best paying jobs now and I may give it a trial since it mostly deals with children and I love children or caring for people in general.
I’ve gotten home for over one hour now and I’ve been thinking about it. I’m really interested and I don’t know why. Anyway, I have planned to start my first class on Saturday. It is an online class and I’d get certificates for it.

This is a new path I’m trying to work towards in 2024.

It was not part of my plans before but I just believe that God is leading me and if this seem to be the next phase of my life, so be it. How do you feel about this?
