Hello friends, how are you? I haven't been writing for a while, I was too busy finishing another college term. I will have a short vacation period and I will use it to dedicate a little more to my blog. As you can see, returning to talk about music, and continuing RHCP's discography with The Gateway, the band's eleventh album.

The official release of the album was on June 17, 2016, with its first single Dark Necessities just over a month having already been released. And this song is just brilliant, and it already showed everything that was to come with the new album. Josh's intro on this track is fantastic and comes rising along with a piano to burst with Flea's bass beats, it's a complete song with a chorus that sticks in your head maybe that's why it's successful, one of my favorite songs from the band . That piano 'solo' in the middle of the song is also sensational.

The disc is very good, while giving Josh more prominence in relation to I'm With You, the other members of the band continue to shine. What really pleased me about this album was that they managed to innovate while maintaining the essence of the band.

The intro of Feasting On The Flowers touches my soul and I don't even know why lol, and that epic turn that the song has at the end surprised me.

Detroit reminds me a lot of Gorillaz, for the vocal effect, while The Hunter for me is almost a Beattle song with that psychedelic guitar.

My favorite songs: Dark Necessities, Feasting On The Flowers, Go Robot, Encore, The Hunter.

Olá amigos, como estão ? Faz que não escrevo, estava muito ocupado terminando mais um período da faculdade. Terei um breve período de férias e vou aproveita-lo pra dedicar um pouco mais ao meu blog. Como podem ver voltando a falar de música, e continuando a discografia de RHCP com The Gateway, o décimo primeiro álbum da banda.

O lançamento oficial do álbum foi no dia 17 de Junho de 2016, entretando seu primeiro single Dark Necessities há pouco mais de um mes ja havia sido lançado. E essa música é simplesmente brilhante, e ja mostrava tudo que estava por vir com o novo disco. A intro de josh nessa faixa é fantástica e vem ascendendo junto com um piano para estourar com as batidas de Flea no baixo, é uma música completa com um refrão que gruda na nossa cabeça talvez por isso o sucesso, uma das minhas músicas favoritas da banda. Aquele 'solo' de piano no meio da música também é sensasional.

O disco é muito bom, ao mesmo tempo que da mais protagonismo para o Josh em relação ao I'm With You os outros membros da banda continuam brilhando. O que me agradou muito nesse disco foi que conseguiram inovar mas mantendo a essencia da banda.

A intro de Feasting On The Flowers toca minha alma e nem sei porque lol, e aquela virada épica que a música tem no final me surpreendeu.

Detroit me lembra muito Gorillaz, pelo efeito no vocal, enquanto The Hunter pra mim é quase uma música Beattle com essa guitarra psicodélica.

Minhas música favorítas: Dark Necessities, Feasting On The Flowers, Go Robot, Encore, The Hunter.
