Needleworkmonday:crocheting 🧶a cat

Hello everyone !Greetings to people of this community.on the last monday i crochet a bow and everyone liked it alot.so I thought I should make something to post on this Monday too.Cats are fascinating creatures, known for their graceful movements and independent spirits. With their soft fur and expressive eyes, they effortlessly captivate our hearts and bring joy into our lives. So I am gonna crochet a cat.

Material required

1-crochet hook 🪝
2-white and green 💚 yarn
3-needle 🪡
4-poleyster

The process

First I made the head of cat.For that I made a magic ring and Sc in each stitch for 2 rounds.
Then for the 3rd round I made increasing stitches .

For increasing stitch I sc in 1 St and dc in second St.I did this for three rounds.
Then for R4 I sc in 2 St and Dc in every 3rd St.so the circumference of the circle kept increasing.after R4 I didn't make any increasing St.

For body I made the sc in every stitch till R14.

After that I stuffed it with polyester.

You guys might think why is there a safety pin in the body of cat that's because I don't lost the first stitch.it is for convenience.
After stuffing the cat body.it was time to wrap it up.

After R14 I made decreasing stiching exactly opposite to the increasing stitches. And the body was done.
For ears I choose the green yarn.i made the earn and St it on the cat body.
Then I crochet a tail.Tail was pretty simple just make 6 to 7 chain dc on the back side of chain.And then stich it on the cat back with needle.

And everything is done.here is the final look.

The inspiration to crochet this cat was my cat named xoro.i remember when i was kid and in my teenage i was very aftaid of cats (idk why?).As i grew up i slowly overcome the fear of cats.mainly because i watched a lot of cute cat videos on instagram.i liked them to the point that i adopted a kitten.And i named it xoro.

when i was home i kept it but i came to my hostel and my family gave it to my aunt.(sad moment😭).
