Angel of light Fanart:sprinterland character

Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing good and enjoying good mental health. This is my very first time posting in this community. I hope you will appreciate my efforts. So I have seen people posting in this community and getting alot of good reviews.so i thought I should also try to make one of the characters so that I can improve my sketching skills. I sat down and searched for a while what should I make and I came across this beautiful and pretty character of "angel of light".so I decided to make it. I loved the character of light angel because of their powerful abilities of healing and support.

I used to draw when I was little but I left it because it was not very impressive. I was not the sketch girl. I did not want to paint in the first place but even if I try I never tried making sketches. I used to make the drawings that most kids make when they are little like a doll house etc. I saw people sharing their journey of improvement in this community. It make me want to try it. So let me share the procedure. First of all I made the sketch It was not easy and took me around a whole hour to complete. I overline it with black pen.

I was impressed by myself. Then I started color part . At first I thought the sketch is going to be difficult and colouring would be easier but it was other way around. I would rather say both things were difficult. At first I colored the bright yellow wings of the character which are the highlight of the character. They make the light angel very radiant and elegant.

Then I moved to the head. The head is of flame color 🔥. Which make it a difficult color to accomplish. I went with the orange and yellow scheme. I did the most part with the orange color and left spaces for yellow. When I was done with the orange I filled the spaces with yellow color. I also added red color at intervals.

After completing the head I colored the belt. I colored it using purple marker. By the way I used marker colors to color this sketch.

When I was done with the belt I thought for a while whether should i paint the body or not. Beacause without color it would look same as her dress.so I ended up coloring her skin but I think i I made her black than her color. But you guys tell me I did the right thing or not.
