Halloween 🎃||yay or nay?

Hello!!How you all are doing. I hope you are doing good and enjoying mental health. It was Halloween few days back and alot people came up with most stunning ideas. Halloween 🎃 is a day when old celtic believed that it's a day at the end of summer harvest season and in the beginning of winters season. When old celtics believed that it is the time when the line between living and spirits (dead people) is thinnest. So they visit their homes. They did different things to pay attribute to them.
I made a ghost to talk about my opinions about Halloween.

The ancient Celts viewed Halloween as a time to honor deceased loved ones and ancestors. They believed spirits returned to their homes on that night. Families would set out offerings of food and drink to welcome these spirits.

The Celts also believed that not all spirits were friendly. To ward off harmful or mischievous spirits, people wore costumes and masks to disguise themselves, hoping that the spirits wouldn’t recognize them. This idea led to today's tradition of dressing up in costumes.Thats why people dress like ghost on Halloween. Quite new for me.
Halloween also incorporates the season's natural elements,pumpkins, apples, and bonfires. These symbols of harvest and the changing season have become staples in Halloween decorations and traditions, like pumpkin carving
The scary pumpkin.I remember when I was a kid I used to play a game called "Hill climb" there was a theme with name Halloween and there were pumpkins on track and ghosts.

Modern Trick-or-Treating

Trick-or-treating evolved from traditions like "souling" and "guising." In medieval Europe, poor people would go door-to-door on All Souls' Day offering prayers for the deceased in exchange for food, known as "soul cakes." Later, children would dress in costumes, going door-to-door performing songs or jokes for treats. And now people dress in every scary way possible. People came up with really creative makeup looks and costume.

This was my little research on Halloween. I didn't know the reason behind Halloween before.so i thought i should make a halloween related art and then present my idea. I personally don't believe in Halloween at all because there is no way a dead person can visit his home after he is dead. A dead is a dead and there is no way of him Coming back even for just visiting.
Anyways i used 4 ply yarn for this project and 3mm hook.
