This is a post for #pobphotocontest challenge by @friendlymoose. The week's topic is 'Insects'.
This is Chrysoperla carnea, known as the common green lacewing - or, in Russian, 'Zlatoglazka'. Very light, fragile creature made like of mica pieces, reminding a colored stained-glass window.
This moth have landed to rest at our hammock.
One of the bedbugs.
Wood beetle. Pay attention to his powerful jaws!
Byctiscus populi - very well dressed and festive looking bug.
Most wide-spread butterfly here: Gonepteryx rhamni (known as the common brimstone). 😜 A drinking time!!
Worm. The most common worm! (well washed with rainwater)
Ant exploring a broken snail's house.

Great shots. The detail on insects is incredible. The worm photo is really interesting. You don't see photos of worms very often
Er... yes. Strange subject to shoot, really. I would say -- worms has an intresting 'texture' that benefits to the photo... but it does not 'appeal' to a spectator, thus not so many visitors would choose this effective photo as their fave. !PIZZA is another deal -- it is 'everybody's darling' 😁😁😁
