My most embarrassing moment.

Hello everyone,am Elizabeth and am back with another interesting moment to share with you on the hive reachout community.I will be writing on my most embarrassing moments.

My embarrassing moments that I would never forget was when I was in my secondary school.The name of my secondary school is St.Peters Anglican school Akwanga in Nasarawa State, Nigeria.This happened when I was in SS 2 third term.A debate competition was held for all the school in Nasarawa State and was accompaines with a price,the winner was to go on a trip to Israel.Our school ofcourse were issued a formal letter to enroll,amd we accepted it.We started preparations immediately with the help of our teachers of Englishman we started the process,we already had a debate group so ot aided in the selection process.The topic given was Internet has done more harm than good to students.We were not told if we were proposing or opposing the motion.

Ofcourse that was the first stage of the competition, three stages, the schools in Akwanga,the schools in the zone and then the winners will knock heads with other winners at the final.We were not aware of the side ww are in dwy competition but of course our teachers wwre equal to the task.Mr.boniface and Miss hassana were up and doing,the choice twelve students,six in support of the motion which means three are subtitutes and the other six opposing the motion.From the beginnig of the competition it so smoothly,full of joy,very educative and insightful.
We started rehearsing,each day,the first speaker was given a total of eight points,second was five and the third four.I was ofcourse against the motion.It was a one week time frame and we were already ready.

That special day was on friday,the venue was in our school and we meant so many schools.We were to debate with Government secondary school GSS.Two days to thw dabate we were told that we were opposing,cauae of that the other proposing party were disolve but their first speaker was asked to study my point causw i was the first in opposing,the first speaker it was already late bur she did well,I was selected to represent as the first speaker,the second speaker was my school son David and the last speaker was lucky.That day we were to rehearse we did our last practice and prayed for guidance from our Lord.We went their and delivered our points,it was breathing taking and our listeners were impressed.Our judges to attested to the fact that we did plan ahead for he who fails to plan,plan to fail.We won that round and were so happy that day.We were qualified for the next round.
We had not gotten any news from them after that day,till the next week Wednesday day,we were really cut unaware,the brought a letter that we are to present that same day,we were not ready but we decided to give it a try, cause their isn't any harm in trying.

We went to the area office,my teachers and my colleagues in debating.Our teachers wrote us a few points to use.We were called open I started I tried my best but it wasn't good enough,i started stammering and the look on my teachers and friends eyes were just so discouraging,I was so emand regretted my comoing,I had to conclude in order to give space for the next person.source

Indeed I was so embarrassed but I have always use this to make sure I plan so hard before I start anything worth doing.Fir whatever you find doing,you should do it well.Thanks for visiting my blog,stay safe and don't let an embarrassment make you feel less of yourself,it does make us sad but we should always have a high self esteem cause we are the best version of our self.
