⚡️THE RIFTWATCHERS MEDIA : GUARDIANS OF THE RIFT⚡️
It was a dark and stormy night far north and They were coming!. Perilous to possess the most sought-after key to the rift, since many enemies traveled from all over the Splinterlands to find it. The implications of the key getting into enemy hands might result in the Splinterlands being utterly destroyed and the 100-year-old prophecy; "That which was splintered shall be made whole" never coming into fulfillment. As a result, safeguarding the key was critical, and it was secure in the coven of the Riftwatchers.
But things seldom stay as they are.
A thunderous stomp can be heard, and the air is filled with the dread of an impending battle as the enemy musters it's forces.
The most wicked, surely most dreadful creatures from Draykh-Nahka, never previously seen, are attempting to ascend through the Rift and wreck havoc in the Splinterlands with the aid of the key. The fate of the Splinterlands rest in the hands of the Guardians of the Rift.
🐲STHISPA - SUMMONER
STHISPA the extraordinary 5-star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Epic Monster destined for greatness. Her bloodline is royal, even though her birth was labeled a hideous mistake. She is a very powerful summoner whose powers was revealed when the Chaos Legion invaded Draykh-Nahka and Centrum City fell. When in battle she grants all Monsters fighting alongside the 
Phase ability which cause magic spell casters to miss their attack on her warriors. STHISPA takes a stance, ready for battle. She summons the most powerful warriors to battle using a bow she fashioned from the bones of defeated enemies, the source of her many powers.
☠️LORD OF DARKNESS - MELEE ATTACKER
LORD OF DARKNESS is indeed the Lord of battle, and he leads his team to victory with his amazing abilities. When he is injured, his 
Enrage ability is activated which gives increase Melee and speed attack . He 
Stuns his assailant, leading them to lose control of the situation, losing a turn to strike. A 3 star⭐️⭐️⭐️ warrior with the 
Shield ability, which shields him from melee attacks. He steps in to take the front line.
☠️CABALIST - MAGIC ATTACKER
CABALIST is a very knowledgeable and diabolic spell caster who has fully mastered the art of time bending. A great threat on the battle field and he can manipulate time however he wishes. He 
Demoralizes by reducing the melee attack of enemy monsters. His 
Giant killer does double damage to over powered monsters who cost 10+ mana in battle. A 7 star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rare warrior who 
Amplifies by reflecting back Magic attack, return fire and thorn damage to all enemy monsters by 1.
🐲DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR - MELEE ATTACKER
DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR is a half-vampire trained to be the perfect assassin. First she 
Cripples the enemy by taking away 1 max health line, and then goes on to deal 
Double strike by attacking twice instead of one. A rare 6 star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ warrior who 
Sneaks who targets the last monster on enemy line and eliminates without looking back.
☠️QUEEN OF CROWS - RANGED ATTACKER
QUEEN OF CROWS has had the power to speak to and control crows even as a child. She however grew into a very powerful warrior. In battle, QUEEN OF CROWS 
Returns fire back at ranged attackers, while she 
Slows down enemies by reducing their speed. She is a 7 star rare ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ warrior who 
Headwinds by reducing range damage targeted at her and team warriors, same time being able to attack and cause damamge from front position using her 
Close range skill.
☠️LIRA THE DARK - RANGED ATTACKER
LIRA THE DARK steps in next, a 3 star⭐️⭐️⭐️ legend. You'll Never see Lira without Lord of Darkness. She pushes back her draped gown, a hand on the hip and the other fired up to strike. She is indeed a fascinating seductress. Lira will strike and kill before the enemy has a chance to react. Her excellent 
Opportunity ability allows her to attack from any position as she drains the life out of the enemy with lowest health. She is super 
Swift and grants her team warriors the same ability. Lira then goes on to 
Snare flying foes, and she has never failed to hit her target.
🐲RUNIC SKYCLAW - RANGED ATTACKER
RUNIC SKYCLAW a rare 6-star super intelligent being who dares to thread with the dragon. Having an intelligent suit that helps glide through enemies and eliminates swiftly. Her 
Flying ability will destroy non-flying melee and ranged attack enemies, while she 
Snipes targetting monsters with range, magic or no attack type at all, causing great damage to them and her 
Reflection shield will not take damage from Blast, Magic reflect, Thorns or Return fire.
⚔️ THE BATTLE ⚔️
As they all lined up for battle, the enemy finally revealed itself. Enemy-DARIA DRAGONSCALE
steps forward while bearing her solid dragon shield and drawn out sword. She is the only elite Dragonsguard. A well trained summoner with the ability to summon largest and fiercest of Dragons. She is clever, quick, and stunning to behold and she came with company, a lineup of dreadful monsters. Enemy-DJINN CHWALA
in front line, Enemy-CARNAGE TITAN
in second, Enemy-CREEPING OOZE
in third, Enemy-CHAOS DRAGON
in fourth, Enemy-DRAGON JUMPER
in fifth and Enemy-SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN
in backline.
The attack on the RIFTWATCHERS by the enemy-DARIA DRAGONSCALE was a well thought out plan. All Magic Monsters engaged in combat were limited by the 
WEAK MAGIC, implying Magic attacks hits armor before damaging health.
As ENEMY-DARIA DRAGONSCALE enabled them, the enemies honed their melee weapons. STHISPA To protect her team from the magical assailants, gathered immense powers and granted all team monsters the Phase ability.
The CABALIST used a strong magic spell to demoralize the opposing monsters, neutralizing the enemy summoner ENEMY-DARIA DRAGONSCALE's deadly melee. Soon after, QUEEN OF CORNS utilized her powers to headwind all of the enemy monsters, lowering their ranged attack accuracy. She also slowed them down, deducting -1 from their speed points. LIRA THE DARK swooped in and bestowed the Swift ability on all team monsters, giving them an additional speed point advantage.
Both sides displayed incredible powers, and the air became thick with the dread of an impending and fierce battle.
LIRA THE DARK quickly targeted and destroyed the ENEMY-CREEPING OOZE, with a single strike. As a result of it's demise, the slow spell performed on team monsters is immediately removed.
RUNIC SKYCLAW precisely attacks ENEMY-CHAOS DRAGON and destroys his shield.
The CABALIST and QUEEN OF CROWS target and take turns striking at ENEMY-DJINN CHWALA, who is leading the enemy monsters; defeating her is critical.
ENEMY-SILVERSHIELD ASSASIN is targeted by DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR and suffers double damage. LIRA THE DARK does not spend time identifying the weak link in the opposing lineup; she strikes and effortlessly removes ENEMY-SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN.
The chance arrives and is not squandered. The CABALIST and QUEEN OF CROWS take turns attacking ENEMY-DJINN CHWALA, killing her instantaneously. They all yell in triumph; the enemy's most formidable defense has been defeated.
ENEMY-DRAGON JUMPER flies over and promptly kills DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR. This enrages the team since one of them is no longer alive. They go into action, determined to revenge her death.
LIRA THE DARK and RUNIC SKYCLAW strike and slay the ENEMY-CHAOS DRAGON quickly. It was a massive dragon, and the fall was spectacular.
ENEMY-DRAGON JUMPER flies over and hits LORD OF DARKNESS, instantly killing him. LIRA THE DARK cries in anguish as a dead bossom ally falls on the ground.
CABALIST unleashes a lethal spell that instantly kills the enemy stronghold's frontline. TITAN OF ENEMY-CARNAGE
LIRA THE DARK aims and unleashes the final strike of triumph on the last standing ENEMY-DRAGON JUMPER in honor of the death of LORD OF DARKNESS.
The Riftwatchers (STHISPA, CABALIST, QUEEN OF CROWS, LIRA THE DARK, and RUNIC SKYCLAW) all yelled
FLAWLESS VICTORY!!!
The battle was intense. It'll be idle to not use magic monsters with a WEAK MAGIC ruleset. Furthermore, engaging a large number of melee attack monsters, like my opponent did, is very common in order to gain an advantage. However, after a few ranked battles, I discovered that just one melee and one magic are sufficient, and that more ranged attack monsters are required as backline since they can target and eliminate from a distance. This is the tactic I used in this battle, and it worked well. Infact, all ranged attack monsters survived while melee attackers perished. So, when confronted with this ruleset, I would recommend using melees as sacrifice units, a magic monster for some spell casting, and the rest as ranged attackers. All in all, an intriguing victory.

OPENED A RIFTWATCHERS PACKThe Riftwatchers card truly is an interesting set of cards and I absolutely enjoy engaging them in battle. The are the next set of brute force cards. No much talk here, Let's see what I pulled from one pack.
I pulled 3 Neutral cards [JUNKER⚔️ , SCAVO TECHNOMANCER⚔️ , RUNE CRAFTER⚔️], a Death Card [NIGHT GHOUL☠️] and Earth Splinter Card [LICHEN BEAST🍃]. 4 common cards and 1 Rare as guaranteed from each pack. I do fancy the Death card NIGHT GHOUL☠️, great tank and defense, sharp melee but a monster this heavy would need more speed considering his Taunt ability will attract great damages from enemy monsters. All these cards get better as they level up.

- Whereas Dark Crystal Energy (DEC), is currently trading at 0.001857 , it went down during the past week, but seen a decent pump at +1.93% price decrease in the last 24hrs.
