आदिमध्यावसानेषु न ते गच्छन्ति विक्रियाम्||

Aadimadhyaavasaaneshu na tey gacchanti vikriyaam.

Etadarthe = for this purpose.
Kuleenaanaam = persons born in a noble and illustrious family.
Nrupaah = kings.
Kurvanti = do.
Sanghram = collection.
Aadi + madhya + avasaneh + tu.
Adi = beginning.
Madhya = the middle.
Avasaaneh = the end.
Tu = and, but.
Na = not
Tey = they.
Gacchanti = undergo.
Vikriyaam = undesirable and unexpected deterioration, failure.

The above lines state that A Persons born in noble and illustrious families and Kings collect and store wealth only for the purpose of meeting any contingency faced during the initial, middle or concluding stage of a project. There are chances of some unforeseen and undesirable circumstances that may otherwise result in the failure of the project.

In short, the lines highlights the modern concept of Management for making provision for a Contingency Fund while implementing any project.
